This is a great version of Mario Kart. My favorite thing is that I can play as Link. Even my parents, who are not video game people, want to play it, all of us together. So I'd say it's a fun family/group game. I think all the maps are pretty cool. Some of the items are hard to get a handle on. I actually wish they'd give us the option to turn certain items on or off. Like, in a single-player or local-multiplayer game, we should be allowed to turn off the stupid blue shells, I think. But whatevs. It's still fun.

Excellent game on the switch. Being able to play Mario Kart on the go is even more amazing. New Battles Modes have made this game even better. This is coming from someone who owns both the Wii U version and update Switch version.

I have been a fan of Mario Kart since the days of Nintendo 64. I have played every mario kart game and this one is without a doubt the best and most robust mario kart game. Not only is it choc full of characters, it also contains tons of racing tracks, items, and a ADD quelling amount of colorful graphics and on screen action. This game is simply fun for the whole family. Can't drive very well? This game has driving assist much like on new cars that can help racers stay on the road. This is useful for young kids that havent developed gaming skills yet.

Mario Kart games have always been so much fun. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best one so far. It's an amazing game for playing alone or with friends. You have the typical option to play in multiplayer setup up to 4 players with one single TV or 8 in local multiplayer. The online works much better than before and is very fun to play. The addition of the revamped battle mode makes it great again as it should've been before. If you have the Wii U version there's not much difference, but if you skipped the Wii U and never played this game, this is a must.

This is totally worth trading up from the Wii U version. The graphics are beautiful and having mario kart on the go is a no-brainer!

Lots of new tracks and some old ones thrown in there. There are also a lot of characters and cars to choose from.

It's what you expect out of Mario Kart..fun racing for small kids and deeper racing for those willing to put the time in. Fun for all ages

This game is great. It follows the previous Mario Kart series with the characters. The tracks are similar too although they have their variances

I have played this game with my son. It is entertaining and perfect for a third grader.

This Mario Kart is just as fun as the series always has been. Plenty of tracks, characters, and kart mods to keep you racing for a long time.

Good game for kids and adult kids lol. bright colors and fun characters but you I have to buy an expansion pack if you want the rest of the characters.

great graphics and fun game, works with Nintendo switch and can be played with multiple people

This was my first time playing Mario kart since the days of N64 and it being on a cartridge, so my anticipation was set pretty high to start out with... And that anticipation was meet with some wild Graphic changes to tracks and there’s soooo many players to chose from now, but it has still kept its core concept that makes it instantly fun, competitive, easy to function and understand. I bought it at full price without any sale and have no regrets about that decision.

Love the gameplay and the extra slot for items! Characters and tracks are great! Split screen and controls are easy! I would highly recommend it!

Lots of fun for those who are competitive, good game for gatherings with the buddies

I’ve always been a fan or Mario since I had a wii however over the years I haven’t played my wii anymore and I’ve always wanted another game system but though I would be wasting money. However I still love this game hands down. I don’t have a steering wheel but it’s still fun to play and be able to compete against other people. You have the options to compete with friends or online gaming I really like it and you can sit and play all day. Hahaa

Has a combination of tracks from all of the different Mario Kart games. Can play for hours easily.

Great game reminds me my childhood can’t wait to play this with the kids
