This is the same game as the Mario kart for the wiiu but with all the characters, not kart parts, already unlocked and a couple new and awesome multiplayer modes. If you have a couple friends you can sit down with and play this game with, it is completely worth buying even if u own the wiiu version. The new multiplayer modes are the most fun I've ever had playing a Mario kart game just be warned 200cc can be frustrating lol

Having already played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, I wasn't expecting much more to come out, but I was for better, surprised how much better it is! It feels great holding a GameCube Pro Controller to drive in a Mario Kart game again and online play is a lot smoother!

It's a good game is what my son says. My daughter and I find it very entertaining and the possibilities are almost endless as far as upgrades go.

This game is the APEX of what mario kart could be. Though the network issues are varying based on users and their sh***ernet. The game is a beautiful port with expanded features that will make you hate your friends all over again. If you don't have any friends, no worries, the CPU racers will supplant real ones just fine in their automated rage against you. 5 out of 5 for being exactly what you love and HATE about Mario Kart.

Outstanding game. I haven’t played Mario Kart since my GBA and this definitely brought me back. Lots of new stuff to learn, but still super fun and nostalgic.

This version of Mariokart is so different from what I remember on the N64, but is so fun! There are so many new things for us to try!

If you're a fan of the Mario Kart series, then you'll love this one. Amiibos work with it too and unlock special rider outfits for your Miis according to which characters' amiibos you use. The one complaint I have is that I wish the online multiplayer options were a bit more robust. That said, you can play splitscreen online multiplayer which is a big plus these days. Most games have foregone this option. Thanks Nintendo! :)

This game is fantastic just like nearly every mario kart in the series. The switch as a console just enhances this mario kart experience. I like how it includes a lot (maybe all) of the classic courses, I still haven't gotten through this whole game simply because I only bust it out when friends are around. Next to smash bros, this game is a nice 2nd for multiplayer games on the switch.

The only thing I can say bad is the fact that you cannot transfer your Actt from WiiU or at least that I have found. I completed almost all of this game on WiiU and now I have to do it again. Otherwise this game is awesome. New tracks!!! Characters!!!

Great game!! Purchased it as a gift to my daughter and its been a hit for everyone at home. Took me back to my childhood years!

Fun game, I enjoy the character customization options

This game met all my expectations for a Mario Cart racing game. The maps, characters, vehicles, and weapons are amazing. This game is appealing for young and old, seasoned and new players alike. The weapons equalize the races so newer players can stay competitive with the seasoned players. No one is immune to a flying turtle shell or a randomly placed banana peel. Great game and one of the best on the Switch!
