Even my husband who is not console gamer at all found it easy to get into and improve within the first couple of rounds. We laughed at the silliness together and got into the strategy of it as well. A final note, the guy at the store who helped me was great and had great advice about the game and the Nintendo Switch in general.

First of all if you haven't played Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U then for sure buy this game. It is the best Mario Kart that has been made to date. I had bought this for $60 before for the Wii U. It was worth paying that price again for the Switch. I, at this point only have 2 games for the switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I feel like from what i have played, the Mario Kart game feels like you take full advantage of the Switch. When I play Zelda on the go I always feel like I am losing a little something because that game feels better to me when it is played on a big screen. Mario Kart looks amazing on a big screen but I don't feel like i am sacrificing anything when playing it on the go. It is the perfect game for that. I had even bought all the DLC on the Wii U for the game before. SO the tracks and characters that are all unlocked with the game now I had already had except for the all new ones like Bowser Jr. Battle Mode is so much better now and way more fun playing against people at home. The ability to carry two items gives a bit more strategy to the game and really helps if you are used to be ahead in a race and only getting coins because of your position. It does not feel like a whole new game to me, which would normally make me say it isn't worth spending another $60 on the game but the fact that it makes the Switch feel good to play on the go and not feeling like I am making that big screen sacrifice is worth the money to me.

AWESOME GAME! I have always loved the Mario kart games. Have purchased them all for my Nintendo game systems. This one is awesome all the levels are incredible. They have previous levels from older mario karts and they have been revamped incredible. You will for sure enjoy this game. Several hours of gaming time.

Filled with loads of content, this game will steal you away for hours at a time. It's got Grand Prix, which you can beat over 5 times with each speed: 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, Mirror, and 200cc. Also included are Time Trials, Battle Mode, and a surprisingly fun and responsive online multiplayer mode. Other reviews have gone over them more extensively, so I would just give this game 3 thumbs up!

Fun game and includes a bunch of classic Mario Kart tracks. Keeps family entertained

There really isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said. This game is instantly fun and accessible to players of all skill levels. But it also offers that depth where practice and playing makes you faster. This is a must own for the system. Sure, it is too similar to the Wii U version, but that doesn't detract from the excellent game play. Do yourself a favor and snag a copy.

It's Mario Kart! My kids (Ages 6 and under) also love this. One of the best features for them is the ability to turn on auto gas and steer assist to keep them on the track. This way they can play and still keep up which helps when playing with the older kids. Lot's of tracks and upgrades for the cars.

Mariokart is always the best game to olay with friends. I love all the new tracks

If you have the Wii U version, I'd say skip this entry. The battle mode and other extras aren't worth that much money. However, on it's own, this game is one of my favorites of all time. The courses are good (not the best in the series, but good), the driving is smooth, there are fun kart unlockables, and 200 cc will keep you playing for a while. For overall fun factor, this game is 10/10.

This is an awesome game! But it’s Mario Kart so was there any doubt. I had the game shipped, and it came quickly without any damage. I highly recommend the getting the DLC as well!

One thing I liked most about this game? The graphics. Its stunning. This is my first Mario game on switch and I love it. The music is great and smooth visuals. Running it on my switch OLED and absolutely love it. It is a must for every switch lover.

I have the Mario Kart game on my phone. And I bought a switch for xmas, so I wanted to have the full version for my 65" UHDTV. This game is so much fun! Figuring out the controller situation is a bit of a hassle when your playing with 2 or more people, and if you have epilepsy you should probably not play this game! But man is it fun as heck!
