Good to play with friends or family members, if I play by myself I find it a bit boring, so if you planning to play online or local mode I recommend 100%

Was really nervous about Mario Kart successively meeting its past standards. Past races being included in the game definitely helps, but all the original tracks stand on their own merits. The tire/kart system is a nice maturation of the series to keep from the oversimplistic weight-classes. New items are great, great anti-blue shell technology! Music can be a little wanting at times, but not terrible, online is super fun and seems to be promisingly endurable. The MarioKarTV replay thing is a little overindulgent. The optional smart steering is a stroke of genius. If it would have been mandatory it would have really ruined the game, but having it be optional is a great way to learn tracks. Right along with that, is having to finish tracks and not having the option to restart, just a nice touch. Switch additions are great also, glad the tilt controls are optional, because they can be fun, but hard to remember if you're using certain controller methods. That's about it I think. Love the point-unlock system. 200 cc is a cruel joke that if I ever master I'll almost be kind of embarrassed, but for its credit it is kind of like making Mario Kart into a cartoon style Gran Turismo. Too much for my taste, but I could see how it would be fun. Oh and the battle additions, that renegade thing with the piranha plant, really fun, sunshine really fun, coin runner.... meh, but the rest great additions.

Very entertaining Switch game. I was a big fan of this game on the Wii and this one is just as good if not better than that classic one. The courses are entertaining, the handling of the cars are great and it looks beautiful on the Switch. This is a must-have as a Switch owner!

This game was the main reason I wanted a switch and I'm so glad to have it. It's very fun to play online with people(just make sure to have a nintendo switch online membership for the online stuff). It's definitely my favorite game to play on the switch so far.

I traded in my Wii U copy of this game when I picked up a Switch. I can't believe the Big N didn't include these extra modes as DLC at least for the Wii U version. Oh well, this is the complete package if you're on the fence about it. Love that they brought back balloon battles. My only complaint in Toad's Turnpike (N64). I don't care for that remade track. The rest are awesome.

My daughter loves this game. We bought her a Nintendo Switch Lite as we were talking a long plane trip and she has been so helpful lately around the house. This game entertained her on the plane trip and she absolutely loves it. It’s a great game. I’ve started playing it a bit too.

This game provides fun for all. Auto correct steering option keeps those with a harder time with games still able to enjoy the experience. Whole family gives a big thumbs up.

I was impressed with the graphics and ease of play and using the Switch

This game is so much fun to play online against friends. I usually get last place but on the battle modes, I can hold my own. The only thing I don't like is that this game is so popular that Nintendo hasn't come out with a DLC pack yet. If you're going to buy a Nintendo Switch, then I highly recommend to get this game.

Great game... more fun with friends, of course. I haven't really played MK since the original on SNES. I had no issues getting used to the controls and love the fact that courses from older iterations are recreated here. Great game for the switch (2 controllers & portability). Due note, for online multiplayer, you will need to subscribe to Nintendo online.

For $60 bucks its a bit expensive But the kids enjoyed, and its very addictive.

Comes with extras. Very fun especially on the go. Must buy for Nintendo Switch.

Love, love, love. My son loves being able to choose characters and switch cars. I love that there is a definite ending spot (4 races), that makes it easy to monitor his amount of time playing unlike other games that are never ending.

Another fantastic entry in the Mario Kart series. The Deluxe Mario Kart 8 is so much fun, perfect for anyone and best for multiplayer. I believe this was originally on the Nintendo Wii U but Nintendo added alot of extras to this Deluxe edition for Switch.

My nephew had received the Switch bundled with this game for Christmas but he over-scratched the redeem code and became unusable. I found this game while on sale and had a gift certificate as well. I finally get to school my niece and nephew on Mario Kart and also causes the adults to curse like no other.

Very fun game for the family and for kids. If your a fan of the series in general, then this game won't dissapoint. If your a first time person and need a game for the switch, this will do the job. Kids can play against each other and have different fun modes for use.

Had MK8 on the WiiU and the Switch version brings all that fun to the new console plus the expansion pass allows you to enjoy a whole bunch more tracks. Another great installment in the series

This game is so fun to play with family on multiplayer. The different courses and players make it a great game for any player. The different cars and tires and accessories is also a fun part to this game.
