Mario Kart is a long known staple game for Nintendo devices and often played with friends at parties as you can have up to 4 players with customizable characters. This version builds upon previous ones with new characters and for those who are not as skilled at racing, there is a very helpful feature to keep you within bounds of the track. This feature might hinder more experienced players who like taking paths close to the edge or over ramps that go over holes. Overall the design is appealing and the customizability is a fun bonus, fans of the game will enjoy it and beginners will enjoy the ability to pick all the race courses and characters from the very beginning.

Mario Kart 8 doesn't need an introduction or a review, it is definitely one of the must-have games on the switch platform. A perfect party game that keeps everyone hooked for hours and the race tracks do and mechanics that do not disappoint. I will suggest getting a grip for the joycons though else you will end up with a very sore thumb.

From the moment I popped this game into my Nintendo switch dock and played it off my TV I have been so impressed with just how amazing the graphics look, the gameplay feel and of course the countless amount of different race tracks. The battle mode with 5 balloons is also a positive addition to the MK franchise. A must own for any Mario fan whom owns the switch!

My favorite Mario Kart so far. Graphics look great and there's a good variety of courses to choose from. I think it's best to race against other people rather than the computer once you're comfortable with the controls, as it's more challenging. I rarely buy games at retail price, but I think this one's worth it. Especially if you can get the free steelbook too.

My kids love this game... I love this game... My wife loves this game... The last Mario Kart I've played was N64 so this was a huge upgrade for us. I have not found any flaws in this game. I love being able to split the controller to 2 and instantly create a fun battle. I also really love being on the go unlike any other game system out there for a game like this.

This game is so awesome, i would recommend this game if you just wanna sit down and have some fun racing. It will definitely bring out the competitor in you, especially in times when you're in first then you're hit with a blue shell seconds later a red one lol. I've only played in hand held mode and it's beautiful, so i imagine it's even better on big screen. Enjoy

This game is so fun to play with family on multiplayer. The different courses and players make it a great game for any player. The different cars and tires and accessories is also a fun part to this game.

I bought a Nintendo switch lite pink colour for my 5yrs old daughter, plus a game, but she didn't like the game, but i discovered it wasn't within her age ratings though i asked the sales representative who actually gave me a wrong information that made me to purchase, he was more about moving me on to attend to next customer. Nevertheless, they refused to accept it for return because they said it's been downloaded, we never played or had a game in our lives, just a new experience which i made known to the rep on that day.

I remember growing up and playing Super Mario Kart on the the Super Nintendo. My brother and I love competing and could play it for hours when the weather outside was rainy. Now my son and I get to enjoy this awesome, new game! It's great how it has 5 different Grand Prix levels with the 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, mirror, and 200cx. Great game!

This game was pretty sweet. The DLC packs are awesome and The original content was great too. I recommend playing with a gamecube controller.

Had MK8 on the WiiU and the Switch version brings all that fun to the new console plus the expansion pass allows you to enjoy a whole bunch more tracks. Another great installment in the series

Growing up, I loved MarioKart 64 just as much as any other kid. Before there was Smash Bros, the relationships between family and friends, were shattered by electronic racing in environments visually designed to give Helen Keller a seizure. MarioKart 8 lives up to that legacy. Local multiplayer gaming gets to live again. This game is a must.

Mario Kart 8 is a great new twist on the classic game that everybody loves. All tracks are unlocked and playable from the start so you don't have to spend hours unlocking them like you did on the Wii version. They added new items and new tracks along with the classic items and tracks. This game has already provided my family with hours of fun entertainment.

Been quite a while since I last played a mainline Mario Kart game, and this one really gives you everything you want with new vehicle types that really break up the sameness older Mario kart games have had to deal with. It's really fun for young players with it's aids for driving and allows anyone regardless of skill level to take part.

This game provides fun for all. Auto correct steering option keeps those with a harder time with games still able to enjoy the experience. Whole family gives a big thumbs up.

This game brings back many fun memories playing as a kid. I got this for my son and it’sa but more intense than years ago. The game has kept much of its same basic play while adding exciting graphics. This is a fun game for my 8 year old and would recommend it to anyone who likes to race.
