I would highly recommend the game. The kids love it and have a blast on it.

I find i play the games i have downloaded more often then the physical cartridges that have to be swapped out. Buying the download from best buy gives me rewards points. However, if you have gamers club unlocked you wont get your 20% off on digital downloaded games. It only applies to physical copies. For me, having mario kart downloaded and ALWAYS ready to play was worth it.

Just like the old ones super fun for the parents and kids or even when you have friends over.

I picked up Mario Kart for the whole family. My wife doesn't play video games much, but loves to throw on Mario Kart to play with the kids.

I got this when I purchased the Nintendo Switch for my son for Christmas as his first game for the console. He loves it. It’s great for any age but has option to help children or beginners so they don’t drive off course. Which helped him get used to the game. Good game play and graphics are good also. I’d recommend for any age and anyone. They’ll have a blast with it.

If you've played mariokart in the past, you definitely need to try out this one. All the new courses are amazing. The graphics are insane!

If you missed Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, the Switch version is well worth a purchase. You get all of the game's DLC in addition to the base package, plus there are new features that make the game easier to play for all ages, such as steering assist and automatic acceleration. Veteran gamers can disable these functions, but newbies can benefit greatly while they learn the ropes.

This game is really great for everyone. From casual to hardcore gamers, it's super easy to pick up and play. Having played for hours, it always feels fresh. Couch co-op is hands down the most fun I have had with the game, however online play is also very fun. You can't go wrong with Mario Kart. This game is definitely a must have for any switch owner who likes racing games.

Simply put, if you're a Mario Kart fan this is a no-brainer. If you're like me and skipped out on the WiiU then you have even more reason to get this. And if you like playing with people who aren't ultra-skilled gamers (kids, significant others, etc.) then you will LOVE the inclusion of some of the smart steering and auto acceleration mechanics. Buy it and have a blast.

Mario Kart is a long known staple game for Nintendo devices and often played with friends at parties as you can have up to 4 players with customizable characters. This version builds upon previous ones with new characters and for those who are not as skilled at racing, there is a very helpful feature to keep you within bounds of the track. This feature might hinder more experienced players who like taking paths close to the edge or over ramps that go over holes. Overall the design is appealing and the customizability is a fun bonus, fans of the game will enjoy it and beginners will enjoy the ability to pick all the race courses and characters from the very beginning.

Its great to have this game on the Switch. I loved the original and I was glad that they chose to include all the DLC that came to the original version on the Wii U in the Switch version's retail release. Would recommend if you enjoy racing games and having fun social interations with other people whether playing online or using the Switch's proximity area multiplayer.
