Excellent and very good game I love it with my life

I bought this game at the Best buy in Savannah, GA and it has not disappointed. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is easy, the music is on point! I definitely recommend anybody purchasing this game, it's great for fun with friends and family!!!

I have always heard my wife saying how much she loves Mario games. I have researched for months which Mario to get her without her not liking the gift so I went ahead and researched and everywhere the prices were terrible. I went to BestBuy and saw this Mario Kart and I knew immediately she would love this so I ordered it online along with the OLED Nintendo Switch for pickup and asked her if she could drive me down by BestBuy to pick up something. Went to the curbside and picked it up. After receiving it I gave her the bag and said this is just a token of my appreciation of you and I want you to enjoy this gift. She screamed in joy and she hurried home she played it all night til morning i was so happy I picked Best Buy as my choice to purchase these two items. No issues or anything with the two items and my wife loves her game to death.

I’m a fan of Mario and I love the Mario Kart Series, so of course I enjoy this game. This isn’t my favorite MK game of the series, but it’s still a great game. If you enjoy the MK series, pick this one up if you haven’t yet. This is also a port from the Wii U version. If you played the Wii U version, you probably wouldn’t want this one, but it’s completely up to the person. If you never owned a Wii U, or this game (like myself) and you really want to play this on your Switch, pick it up. It’s a fun game, especially if you’re playing with friends and family.

Hands down one of the best Mario Kart games I've ever played and I've been playing them since the SNES and N64 generations when I was a kid. It's great both for old school fans like myself and even new ones as well. Hours of endless entertainment be it racing by yourself or even challenging friends and family. It's an excellent addition to your Switch library of games.

Bought the system for a relative for Christmas and she loves it. I like the portability of the system as she can now play on the road. I thought the controllers were a little small and will have a small adjustment period. The only real downside (and it's a REAL downside) is that the games are not backwards compatible, so you won't be able to use games from previous Nintendo systems and have to buy all new games (pretty expensive).

Buy this game! This game is so much fun. It's a combination of nostalgia and modern day gaming. New and old gamers will enjoy this game.

First off let me say that I bought and played this game since day 1 it was released back on the Wii U so I have already put many hours into it before now. That being said even if you bought and played this on the Wii U it is well worth the price of picking up again on the switch. The battle mode is the biggest improvement over the Wii U version, but not the only one. Switch version runs at 1080p vs 720p on Wii U, it comes with all the paid DLC and of course the best feature... you can play it anywhere you want via handheld mode and it is absolutely gorgeous in handheld mode and on a TV. If you have never played.... buy it yesterday.... if you have it on Wii U... still buy it. As always I would recommend anyone buying video games to get the BestBuy Gamer club, it provides great year long discounts and since I have joined BestBuy is pretty much only place I get any physical games anymore. Great money saver.

Pros: The new 1080p picture had me impressed being my first game I tested, compared to my previous 720 unconverted via hdmi adapter for the Wii. It’s a major jump as I skipped the Wii U console. Although I feel it should be caught up with the times & be in the 4K field by now. Game is plenty fun. Like the new features for example “Drift“ mode. I never figured out how to or control it for the Wii & love doing it for this one as the sparks changes colors depending on your execution. Cons: Wish it came with a digital copy like movies do so that I can bounce between games without switching them out physically. My other major complain is that I can’t play online with friends or other users free at charge like it use to be on the Wii.

I surprised my 5 year old with a switch and this game for her pre k graduation and it has turned into such a fun little family thing to do in the evenings! The graphics are insane! Takes me back to when I was little and played all the Nintendo consoles and this game was always a favorite! When our daughter sleeps, her dad and I find ourselves playing it! Great investment/gaming system!

Excellent Solid graphics. Super fun gameplay! 48 Tracks! 2 player split screen and wireless. Quality Title from Nintendo. You can't go wrong, bought this with my gamers club discount.

Maybe I haven't played it enough, but this Mario Kart doesn't appeal to me as much as the classics. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Don't get me wrong, it is good. But it just doesn't keep me coming back like it used to or expected it to. Since there are track packs you can get online and various updates that you couldn't get on many pervious versions, I expected to be glued to this game, but I'm not. It is worth buying. I do enjoy playing it and part of it might be that I'm getting older, because the younger crowd does seem to enjoy this game quite a lot. Every gamer has their preferences and priorities, and it seems I may have grown out of Mario Kart, but I would still recommend buying it to try and see if it is your jam. It is a well put together game and it is fun.

The Nintendo switch has a lot going right for it, and the addition of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to its library makes sure that it stays that way for awhile. This is by far one of the best ( if not the best) Mario kart game ever. From its truly smooth 60fps gameplay and graphics, to the long awaited return of battle mode. If you have a switch you pretty much have to pick this up even if you played vanilla Mario kart 8 on the wiiu. Oh, not to mention double items, 200cc, amiibo support for mii outfits, and a gold Mario unlockable. There are plenty of ways to enjoy this game. 3...2...1...go buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Always was hesitant to buy this game and after 4-5 years I regret it, I should have bought this game a long time again! This is actually a great game especially entering in 2022! This is game is a must buy for all switch owners!

Let me start off by saying if you already own Mario KArt 8 on the Wii U, This game may not be worth $60 to you. There are a few differences like: New and improved battle mode Steering assist and auto accelerate Kart have been revamped so they do not have the same specs. A few new characters like the Inklings and King Boo Visuals upgraded to 1080p on the tv If this is going to be your first experience with Mario Kart 8, then I can't recommend it enough. This is absolutely the definitive edition, and with the mobility added in, you can't lose.
