I never owned a Wii but if you do then you must've owned and played this at one point. I'll speak to this version of the game and it's really fun. A lot of characters to choose from, you unlock more items for your vehicles the more you complete cups, and if you make a tournament for your friends then I see this game giving you many hours of gameplay. Not worth it for the full price though, sorry nintendo.

Wow this is a fun game for the kids in the family as well as the adults. Easy to set up for almost any age and jump right in. Kids will love the cartoony characters and courses, adults who don't even like games will find themselves acting very competitive after just one race. Cannot recommend enough for a household who is looking for some together fun.

Mario Kart 8 is so fun! You can play alone or with a group of people. As always, there's racing as well as battle modes, so you can play whatever you're in the mood for. This game has fun characters, cool vehicles, wheels, and parachutes, as well as fun and colorful raceways/battle arenas. Mario Kart 8 is definitely a must have for your Nintendo Switch collection!

The switch version of MK is nearly identical to the WiiU- the tracks and graphics are great & visually incredible. The only gripe my husband and I have is playing with the tiny switch controllers... we've adjusted the settings to disable the tilt/other auto functions to improve our experience. In the end, I think we might invest in a pro controller or the wheel apparatus to play more comfortably. However, I have to say that the game itself is fun & family friendly!

My kids love the new Mario Kart! Lots of tracks and characters for them to choose from. Keeps them entertained.

This is one of the funnest versions of Mario Kart I have played. Love all of the new tracks and characters.

Absolutely wonderful Mario Kart game! The graphics are great, especially the base tracks. I've spent way too many hours playing this game... A must-have title for the Nintendo Switch!

This game was amazing. I love how easy it is to use this game on the Nintendo.

When this game came to the Wii U a few years back, at that time it was one of if not the best game on the system. The fact you can now get this game plus all of the DLC on top of the portability aspect makes it an absolute no brainer for anyone who digs racing games. The game can cater to any age group and supports online play as well as local multiplayer. If you own a Switch, do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially if you never played the Wii U version.

This has to be top tier Mario Kart experience. I purchased this digitally and play it on a regular basis with the family. I ultimately had to get the physical copy. Nintendo has done a great job adding additional content for drivers and tracks. Everyone needs to experience this ultimate Mario Kart experience. Recommended for all ages. Especially with the auto turn and acceleration assist. My 3 year old daughter was able to play and feel like she was part of the experience.

We have mariokart 8 for the wiiU but my husband wanted to get a switch before the christmas rush, so I grabbed a copy of mariokart 8 deluxe and am very happy with it. The graphics are great, and the portability is excellent. Playing with one other person while we're waiting for an event to start, and then being able to pause the game and finish it later is fantastic. Probably would be difficult to play more than two people unless you plugged into a TV.

Love this game. Actually received the game before the console came in. We enjoyed previous Mario Kart games on Wii and this takes it a step further (though it has some of the old courses also). We play in our house and have played it online against random people as well as directly with our daughter in Taiwan. Easy to learn, but also fun to try and master. Highly recommend.

Welcome to Mario kart! So much fun. Amazing graphics, lots of cart customization, plenty of characters.

Love the game, can spend hours trying to pass 220k...Also love the battle more and the different types of battle modes available. Theirs tons of tracks (old and new), characters and cars to choose from. I had this item delivered and missed the delivery, but got in contact w ith the delivery person and they came back and dropped it of. overall nice experience.
