I play this game all the time with my family, they love it more then I do lol.

Love the series and this is a really fun game. I have more fun with online play, its an absolute blast. Be prepared if you play single play 150cc and up can be brutal and a test of patience, more so then previous titles imho. Overall a really fun game especially local and online muliplier - the online community is very welcoming and thats a breath of fresh air.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart ever made. Those of us with nostalgia for the Super Nintendo or N64 versions have always clung to those decades-old gems as the standard by which to measure the series, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe blows the rest away. The gameplay is super fast, the graphics and framerate are outstanding, and the sheer amount of things to do will last you and your friends for years. This game includes all of the DLC extra tracks from the Wii U version, but the real clincher is the inclusion of a robust Battle Mode with five different ways to play, each more fun than the last. Online play works great, and once again 200cc mode is a challenge for the best racers out there. If you own a Switch, you need this game.

Whether you're ripping through the track by yourself, or trying to beat friends, this is a must have for any switch owner. The game has a ton of different challenges, and is beyond fun!

My son has always been a huge MARIO fan but this game is the best according to him. Super fun, you get double items, more characters to choose from and you can play online with friends and great graphics too!

Bought the Switch Mario Kart 8 bundle for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Plays it almost every day. Need to get another set of controllers so more than two can play at a time.

i got this game for my 5 year old son, and occasionally play together with him. i love the graphic although its not super duper great like other bigger consoles but its has its own class, and it is very nintendo like though i dont know how to explain it but when i play nintendos game like this one i suddenly could careless about graphich and dont get me wrong, ive been playing gta5 some other great graphic games in 4k at ultra settings since ive finished building my dual gtx 1080 last year and although i rarely play games these days i do still obses with great graphic to behonest. but i really appreciate nintendo family oriented games because they bring family together and just be happy playing games!

Like any Mariokart game it is fun with friends. You can hold 2 items which is pretty cool and comes with all the maps unlocked. Still have to unlock the carts and accessories including Gold Mario. Great game!

Mario Kart has always been a personal favorite of mine (all the way back to N64). Game is fun, great graphics too. Enjoy the different courses - like how they mix the old with the new. Staple game for the Switch!

In my biased 2004 eyes, Wii and 7 are still my favorite alongside Double Dash which I regretfully never properly played, but 8 Deluxe is a great package of just a lotta Mario Kart. The new DLCs are slightly underwhelming with just the sheer amount of Tour tracks and lack of any more fun surprises like Link or Animal Crossing crossovers. Plus the fact the Mercedes product placement is still here from Wii U feels just weird. That said 200CC was a great addition and overall most of 8 Deluxe is just pure fun. At this point there will liekly be a new console coming soon and a new Mario Kart to go with it, so maybe wait for that but if you are sticking with the Switch for a while longer, 8 Deluxe is a grand time.

even if you owned the Wii U version, this is still worth buying. even just for the portability alone. but the revamped battle mode is definitely a plus too as well as better graphics and steady frame rates.

If you own a switch, this is a much needed game. It's just fun and the graphics look good for the system as well. Not much to say but this is a fun experience to play.

This is so much easier to play on the Switch than on the Wii. My 4 year old hardly ever falls off Rainbow Road or goes backwards. She can keep up with the rest of the kids. Of course I always win...

Sure, if you have the Wii U version, this isn't much different, but it has a lot of new characters and levels. This classic never goes out of style. And not to mention, playing this on the go is the best!
