An excellent purchase to have a great time with the family, Mario games never fail and even more so when it comes to local multiplayer. I highly recommend it and better if you buy the DLC of more tracks and characters. Great fun.

one of the best games ever made in the history of games. it does have faults tho, its not at all realistic...the jumps in the game are silly like half a mile jumps!! doing so would destroy those struts/shocks/vertebrea ....I've just realized I have no idea how to spell vertebrae ...oh! I just did it.

I grew up playing Mario kart and the fact that I get to play it again is something I’ve never thought I’d ever get to experience again I’m glad I bought this game

Lord of fun lots of different characters and tracks

Great game. It’s simple to pick up and play, but hard to master. It’s even better to play with friends. If you have a Switch, you must add this game to your collection.

This game is the best. Play it solo or with your kids. Love it. All tracks are unlocked from the start. There’s even a baby mode so your kids won’t fall off the track.

This was one of the best Mario Kart games on the Wii U, now enhanced with new characters, modes, and able to be taken on the go! If you have a Switch... this game is a must buy.

As usual, Nintendo delivers the fun with this edition of Mario Kart. Although it’s technically a port of the Wii U version (instead of a completely new game) it is always fun to play his game with family and friends. As a note, you are able to use the Switch controllers in so many different ways- separate with one joy-con in each hand, using the joy-cons attached to the accessory that makes it a large single joypad, or with a single joy-con, which enables motion control, just like the Wii. You can even attach steering wheel accessories just like the Wii, which makes the game feel completely different!

Mario Kart 8 for the switch was one of the best purchases in months. To finally be able to play this quality game on the go is amazing. A must have to any Switch library.

My boys really enjoyed this game. It was a quick purchase from Best Buy for Christmas and they got it to me as promised. I purchased two thinking they would each need one for their switch, but they were both able to play with only one game. They can actually play up to 4 players, you just need 4 remotes and one console. We connected it to the TV, so they played it on the big TV screen. Even the adults played it. It was fun. I will purchase again from Best Buy. They have great customer service.

If you are buying this, you probably know what you are getting, but I think it's a lot of fun to play with younger kids, and helps teach them the mechanics of a driving game.
