If you’re a fan of Mario kart then this game is for you if you own the Nintendo switch! Fun as it was growing up but has a lot of newer characters, tracks and features. Fun for the whole family!

I love Mario Cart 8. Definitely a great racing game. Many of characters and different tracks to play.definitely worth the money.

I had bought this for my 5yr old grandson to play. He loves it. What's better is that my oldest children in their 20's were absolutely excited to see all the scenes and races from older versions of Mario Kart. Good graphics. Easy to play and very entertaining.

I stopped following the Mario Kart franchise a long time ago. In previous versions, gameplay was too difficult for little ones and the games were too kiddie for older ones. They were simultaneously way too easy yet frustratingly difficult. Did I mention Rainbow Road? Mario Kart 8 fixed all of these problems. It has an auto steer feature that keeps 5yr olds in the game with 15yr olds. They'll even finish on the same lap. When you drive off the road, it resets you quicker so one mistake doesn't end your chance of getting stars. The ai drivers are still a little too trigger happy though. One will strike and then 3 or 4 more will follow. ...And it's still frustrating when you're taken from first to last by relentless attacks, but it isn't as bad as it used to be. Overall, this game is the funnest of the whole series, so if you haven't played in a while, Mario Kart 8 is worth buying.

After playing the 64 version of this game all i can say is how amazing it is. We often have Mario Kart meetups and have so much fun. The portability of the Switch really shines here. The graphics and game play make it a needed game on the Switch.

I am a huge Mario Kart fan and this is one of the best iterations of the game on any Nintendo console. It is really accessible for newcomers and offers depth and challenge for veterans. You can play four players on one TV and four joy-con, and the assistant modes even allow my three year old to have a little bit of fun and actually control. I'm a bit disappointed in the $60 price-point since I already purchased the original. This version includes all the DLC, 8 new courses, but most "Game of the Year" editions are $20-$30, not the full $60 asking price. That's Nintendo.

Got this game for my kids switch lite and they love it!

The original Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U was a solid game in its own right, but the fact that you can take it on the go with the Switch might make this the best in the Mario Kart series. Local multiplayer works nearly flawless. This is just fun and a joy to play.

This game is one that unites people of all ages, and united my family in one spot without devices for the first time in a long time. Tons of family fun on this!

Our kids loved playing this for hours! From the tracks to character selections, they love this.

Fun and great game, it has 2-player online and up to 4-player split screen. Playing 150cc is fair, but when playing 200cc you're going to need to practice and have lots of luck.

This purchase is very worth it even if you had the Wii U version. The return of battle mode arenas is so much fun. And the resolution upgrade and being able to play on the go is a huge plus. It's Mario Kart so it's a master class of Nintendo gameplay.

Small griping aside, Deluxe is a beautiful and lively game full of stunning setpieces and shifting tracks. It’s a game that showcases Nintendo at its best – blending nostalgic callbacks with fresh content to craft an experience both familiar and exciting.

Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Switch is a combination of everything the previous games have accomplished. It is an awesome party game with astonishing graphics and an all-around fun vibe for the family. This is a must buy for any switch owner.

Flagship game of this console. I would say this and Mario party are the coolest games to play with your children.

Excellent multiplayer game to play with your kids. Lots of fun is not too difficult to learn for young children.

We saw this game in store which is why we actually went ahead and purchased the switch. It retains all the good things about the original Mario Kart games but with a new level of graphics, tracks and gameplay. Plus is works great on the 4K TV we have.

It is a good game to play, but would recommend to either get the wheel adapter or classic remotes. The normal nintendo switch remotes are small and feel like you would snap them by playing this game. But all in all the game is fun to play with friends.

MK8 was a fantastic game on Wii U, and is even better on Nintendo Switch. Subtle gameplay tweaks, higher resolution, a brand new battle mode, 48 tracks from the start, and seemless online play give an ideal game to play with friends. Music is also superb.
