Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best Mario Kart ever made. Those of us with nostalgia for the Super Nintendo or N64 versions have always clung to those decades-old gems as the standard by which to measure the series, but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe blows the rest away. The gameplay is super fast, the graphics and framerate are outstanding, and the sheer amount of things to do will last you and your friends for years. This game includes all of the DLC extra tracks from the Wii U version, but the real clincher is the inclusion of a robust Battle Mode with five different ways to play, each more fun than the last. Online play works great, and once again 200cc mode is a challenge for the best racers out there. If you own a Switch, you need this game.

Just bought this today and it is incredibly fun! The features, tracks, and characters are amazing. Love all the options. Great game to play with the family!

Excellent game ideal for children does not contain anything violence ideal for young children

I've been a fan of Mario Kart since I was a kid and being able to play a more advanced and nicer looking version compared to the wii and prior is great. I like the new characters they've added and really like the feel of the karts on the switch. My only gripe is the price for a remastered game but Nintendo likes their money and they'll never lower prices much.

This is a port of the WiiU Mariokart 8 with tweaks and additions to make it almost perfect. The graphics and the gameplay seem smoother overall. They brought back a real battle mode. Overall a really fun game.

I mostly play single player offline games and still had a blast playing this game. 48 tracks and tons of characters kept me engaged for hours. Online modes are cherry on top. Must have for switch owners.

My son has always been a huge MARIO fan but this game is the best according to him. Super fun, you get double items, more characters to choose from and you can play online with friends and great graphics too!

This game is just like the previous versions on different consoles, just a little better on the switch. Lots of fun, great graphics, multi players, different games to play, lots of tracks to race on, love it !

Honestly I wasn't going to get this as I owned the wii u version as well as the dlc so i saw no point in paying for it again. There are a good bit more features that make it worth it from a couple new battle modes and some small control features. But let's be honest the wii u game pad is clunky, never charged, and not as portable as the switch. Don't bother blowing the dust off your wii u just to play mario kart with your friends. You know you haven't touched that thing in years. Get this for switch and meet a local friend at a cafe (following local covid guidelines) and play some mario kart.

Whether you're ripping through the track by yourself, or trying to beat friends, this is a must have for any switch owner. The game has a ton of different challenges, and is beyond fun!

Like any Mariokart game it is fun with friends. You can hold 2 items which is pretty cool and comes with all the maps unlocked. Still have to unlock the carts and accessories including Gold Mario. Great game!

i got this game for my 5 year old son, and occasionally play together with him. i love the graphic although its not super duper great like other bigger consoles but its has its own class, and it is very nintendo like though i dont know how to explain it but when i play nintendos game like this one i suddenly could careless about graphich and dont get me wrong, ive been playing gta5 some other great graphic games in 4k at ultra settings since ive finished building my dual gtx 1080 last year and although i rarely play games these days i do still obses with great graphic to behonest. but i really appreciate nintendo family oriented games because they bring family together and just be happy playing games!
