As an adult, I thought this could be a fun boredom killer during these Covidish times. It is indeed fun, and would be a great game for younger players. As an adult, I got a bit bored with it after some tome, and find myself staying away from it. It is a very good game if you like racing games. Good graphics and smooth play.

Mario Kart 8 deluxe is an amazing racing game. It's surprising to me that Nintendo can continually improve the Mario Kart franchise. They just keep getting better and better. The only complaint I have with the game is that all of the maps and characters are unlocked out of the box. I wish I had to earn them; it would add more value to the single player content.

This game is one of the few must have for the Switch of all ages. The game has settings to make it easier for little ones and can still be challenging to adults. The courses are fun and there is a lot of characters. It's the same as the Mario kart on the Wii U but the price is okay when you know you're getting a game everyone can play and will enjoy.

Nintendo is the master the master of repackaging old content. Fortunately for them, there are enough people like me who keep buying. I purchased Mario Kart 8 for the WiiU as well as both DLC packs released for it. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe includes all of the content from the WiiU (which is nice) and the game still looks great. The portability of the Switch makes this game even better.

It's a really good game to pass time with. Doesn't matter what age you are, you'd enjoy it. I recommend the game to anyone that is looking for a new game.

This game is very easy to pick up and play and is VERY FUN. Love that Online allows for 2 local players to log-on and play with split-screen vs 10 other online players. My wife and I have fun on both single player and multiplayer. The music and map designs are great! This is the perfect party game to have and fire up when you have company over for a good time!

It takes mario cart to an extreme level. I thought i had the tine of my life with the first .Mario cart until i played deluxe 8.

The game is exactly what you expect it to be. It's Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U with all the DLC released unlocked from the start. The replayability for the solo player may take a slight hit since you're essentially playing the game to earn stars and trophies, which serve no functional purpose after unlocking Gold Mario/Kart/Wheels, and coins, which will net you a cart part every 30 coins earned. The replay value comes from the online modes available. Battle mode returns and for the most part, is as great as you remember it. The course variety is small but enough to feel unique with each arena. The only real flaw from the battle mode is the omission of classic "last man standing". Instead, when you run out of balloons, you simply respawn with three more at the cost of a significant portion of your points (which determines what place you finish when time runs out). The race mode is everything you'd expect. And with the addition of 200cc class and the ability to pick up two items at a time, it's pure chaos. If you own a switch, this and Breath of the Wild are must haves.

This game is perfect for playing at home or for taking it on the go (like long car rides). People will enjoy playing alone or with others. You can play online, or you can play it with friends locally. It has additional tracks that are a blast to play on. This game is definitely worth the price, and everyone who has a Switch should get this game.

This game went really well with the switch my kids loved this game and they played the Mario kart game on there 3ds I’m glad they enjoyed this game hope your kids do too
