its another mario kart game (what i consider one of the funnest franchises to ever grace video games)...while it may be a port of the wii u version, nintendo made sure to add new features and a revamped battle mode to seperate it form the original version while also making it feel fresh.

Really fun game to play with friends and family we always have a great time.

Honestly? It's Mario Kart. It's awesome and will always be awesome. The switch is really fun to play and now that we aren't using the tiny joy cons as one controller it makes playing even more fun. Same awesome Mario Kart. The only downside is all the characters are already unlocked.

its Mario kart for the switch. always loved playing this game on the other Nintendo consoles. this one is no different. hours of fun playing with or without other people.

I have the Wii U version of Mario Kart 8 also. While the main races are basically the same (Except for HD rumble which is actually pretty cool), this version has what the Wii U version was missing. Full featured battle mode. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys gaming with friends.

This is a great game to play with friends and I like how there's a lot of people to pick from in the Nintendo switch Mario kart eight deluxe Like Fauser Dr., Bowser dry bones and more you know you and it's your not your on me and play with it that's why I like going in tendo switch

Great game for the family. I wish there were many more multiple players games not requiring online access.

This is just like every other Mario Kart but as always, slightly improved. The graphics are a little better, you get more rider choices, and the battle mode is much improved.

It's Mario Kart! You can never go wrong with Mario Kart. New roads, old roads. West Virginia, mountain mama. Take me home, Country Roads. WEST VIRGINIAAAAAA.

Unless you go online it is really only fun for so long. I usually just break it out when there is company, but it is still fun with friends.

This is a very fun game. I haven't played mariokart since it was out for super Nintendo. A lot more levels and characters to choose from and hours of fun

Was hesitant at first about buying the game again as I had already owned this for the wii u. After getting some hands on with it however I decided to give it a go. The visuals certainly look much better now that they are in 1080p, looks like effects may have been updated as well. The additional characters and karts don't add much if you had purchased all of the DLC previously. Battle mode is awesome, definitely the way it should have been done originally. I also like the addition of the triple drift boost, and double items. Overall the improvements were surprising and the game feels just as enjoyable as the first time around.

Havnt played the series since the Nintendo 64. It was cool, probably would have waited to buy it cause I got bored of it after a couple weeks. (Got it the day it came out.)

I expected to have to pry the kids off it (their first 'proper' computer game), but was surprised when my wife got addicted too. It's all getting a bit competitive now in my house, but great fun ... Well recommended, good family friendly game.

I love mario kart games but somehow nothing has ever surpassed my old favorite, mario kart 64 on the N64. Still, this is a great entry and the best in years for the franchise

Even my five year old can play, even if he isn't very good at it. HE still enjoys it and he loves that characters. Love that is a game that the family can play together.

It has all the characters and maps unlocked from the original and DLC, but even though it is just a ported version from the WiiU still carries all the fun online and local.

Child loves this game. No mature content. Perfect game for younger and older children.
