This is pretty much just a port of the WiiU title of MarioKart8. The only differences being that all the characters are unlocked from the get go, you can now carry two items, and there are more battle options. That being said the game is still just as, if not more fun than the WiiU version. The battle modes are...meh. But the heart of this game, as it always has and always should be, lies in the racing. And it is still superb. I'd suggest picking this up even if you already own the WiiU version.

Mario Kart is a classic series and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues in that tradition. Lots of interesting stages and the driving mechanics have been improved. Would recommend.

You really can't beat a portable version of MARIO Kart. I'm really impressed by how much they got into this little cartridge!

many courses, machines and parts are good. Characters are also available but after creating Mii, I don't select the others.

Online multiplayer is bit laggy so can be frustrating. However, it's great for solo quick pick up plays or local multiplayer.

Mario kart 8 deluxe is a must have for any Nintendo switch owner, would absolutely recommend for fans of the series and newcomers, although people fatigued from the Wii U version might not find much worth returning for.

I love this Mario Cart! It is a crowd favorite and easy to play on the go or on the TV. You can play up yo 4 players, which means a super small screen on the Switch itself but is perfect if you're connected to a TV.

So many maps to enjoy, really fun to play with friends.

This game is seeing more use than previous games, my son is 7 and really seems to enjoy it!

If you have MarioKart8 on the WiiU, this is a complete waste of money. The exact same courses with a couple of extra characters. Nothing new, but your wallet is $60 lighter. Nintendo should be ashamed to call this a new title. Two stars only because it's great if you don't already have MarioKart8. If you have that, zero stars.

Awesome family game on the switch. If you played any past Mario Carts there are some similarities but also a lot of new tracks and features for the switch version. Overall very fun and family friendly.
