As far as mechanics, this game doesn’t change much from it’s predecessors; however, why fix something that isn’t broken? Graphically, this game is exceptional, especially for a Nintendo game. Woulda absolutely reccommend to both fans and newcomers alike.

This is a great version of the game, especially the variety of online battle modes. For younger or inexperienced players the auto steer and brake is also a really awesome option. MARIO Kart 8 for this system is the type of game the entire family can appreciate.

Great Game online play is where all the fun is at. Wish I could have played online market kart as a kid. Now you can play people worldwide against 11 people on various tracks. Have to buy.

Mario Kart 8 plays great on the switch and feels fantastic with the joycon, although a little cramped if you only use 1. The game will, however, go through your battery insanely fast. It felt like I was losing a percent a minute. Would still recommend.

If you're looking for something to play with friends online, this is the best party game. Real-time game play has been just as good as local. Highly recommend for playing with friends virtually.

I've been playing Mario kart since the first one and i live that this one has both old and new maps. I missed playing this game.

Overall such a fun game. It’s not much different technical wise compared to the old games, but all the additions have been great. Love playing this little with friends.

This game is great with the fixed up battle mode, but if you are planning on playing online, you will have to buy Nintendo's terrible online subscription, but locally the game is great with additions such as the Inkling form Splatoon and more!

MarioKart is the best kind of racing game! It is more than just a race, with all the specials you can use. There is a great variety of vehicles, drivers, and tracks. Anyone who likes racing games will love this game.

Enjoying this game almost every night before going to bed. The mirror stage is a little interesting, though.

All of my Grandkids love MARIO games, but this one is their favorite because they all can race each other especially with the MARIO Kart steering wheel (a separate purchase). My 21 year old Grandson still plays Mario Kart with his Cousins!

After getting a Nintendo Switch for Christmas I wanted to get a game to get started. Mario Kart 8 was a great choice as it has different difficulty levels for beginners and is very fun to play when we have visitors. Definitely recommend!

Purchased as a Christmas gift and have had a blast playing with my kids!

Love the game. It brings everything from older versions of Mario kart together. I feel like a kid every time I play. Of course though I play as an adult and always win well at least 90% of the time.

This is my son’s favorite game! I have to pry it out of his hands!
