It includes all the dlc, new characters and a much better battle mode. Also, in console mode it plays at 1080p as opposed to 720 on the Wii U.

However, we love it. I bought 2 more Joy Cons and ll 4 of us play it all the time.

It's has so many awesome tracks and characters plus a reworked Battle Mode which is much better. Worth every penny!
