My kids love this games, they play it for hours. Its a great game because you can play with multiple people. My boys have been bonding since I gotten it for them.

An already exceptional game runs like a dream on Nintendo Switch. Playing two people head to head on the go is very cool and seamlessly. No lag. All tracks unlocked from the get go. Looking forward to more Wii U ports.

The best mario game, we all play everyday 4 players at the same time

So I know this is just the same as the one for WiiU ( which I also have) but the battle modes in this version are more like the old school and far superior. I bought a Switch specifically for the battle modes in this game because that's what my friends and I do when we hang out and we all know it's much more fun to battle than race. We are all very pleased with the battle mode redesign. The only draw back is that we have to unlock karts through racing again which is a little tedious.

This is the best installment since Mario Kart 64 in my opinion. There is a huge collection of tracks from all previous Mario Karts and so many customizable options with characters, vehicle types, wheels, etc.

Every kid I gave this game to has gotten many hours of gameplay from it. It is more complex than previous games, but also has much better graphics and the images are great on today's HDTVs.

Nice and entertaining. Can use it anywhere and thats what i like about it.

Mario Kart 8 is basically Mario Kart Wii with prettier graphics and more tracks. Other than that, it did not evolve much. I really enjoyed the Wii game but this one was more of the same old or same old. I also am amazed that they still do not have a system whereby friends can play and communicate with each other like in Playstation 4 and 5. Part of the fun in multiplayer is in the communication. As it is, this game was underwhelming. Don't get me wrong. It is fun. For a while. Playstation has multiplayer done better and I find myself not playing this game much as there are so much more multiplayer games on Playstation (also require paid membership). Nintendo's basic paid membership is about twenty bucks for a year but it is barebones. They really need to up their game and improve their multiplayer aspect such as communication. I only recommend this to those who did not have the opportunity to play the Wii version that came before years ago.

Great graphics, entertaining and lots of high speed racing and crashes. The 200c is very fast. It reminds me of F-Zero for SNES.

My kids are really like that. Upto 4 players can play ate the same time.

the Nintendo team put many extra hours in on this game. I play with the kids as well as just sit back and watch. I have more fun watching just to see all the background effects on each level. A must have!

Look, it you have a Nintendo Switch, you need to own this and Zelda. They are both epic games. The ability to pause and re-start on the Switch for Mario Kart makes it the perfect "set it down and come back later" game.
