This game is a hit in our household. Everyone loves to play and its a good way to get the family together for a game night

This version of Mario Kart has unbelievable graphics. My son loves it. We bought the digital game, since the physical game was not in stock.

It sucks that Mario Kart 8 on the Switch is everything that the Wii U was supposed to be. But the added benefit of gaming on the go makes this a must have!

A small upgrade to an already great entry to the series. The few changes do make the game play seem much smoother and the assist mode helps for younger racers (though it is annoyingly on by default).

Bought extra controllers because the game is too good not to share. So much fun and the controllers are direction sensitive. If you turn rotate the controller, the car moves in that direction

You can never really go wrong with the Mario Kart franchise. Playing alone or online or with friends (locally or online) the game delivers what it's best at doing — being chaotically fun. Sure it may be stressful when you get the red shell, blue shell, etc. combo which may bring you from 1st place to last place but without items the game would be pretty dull. The upgraded battle mode from the Wii U version along with all the dlc and extra characters and kart parts make it a worthy edition to the Nintendo Switch collection. Fully recommended. Although for those that bought the Wii U version along with the dlc it might be harder to persuade but if you value having fun on the go on a more powerful console, just get it.

Its been years since I played Mario Kart and this one is incredibly fun. The Graphics are gorgeous and there's so much to do offline and online play is great. I just wish there was an option for voice chat.

If you love Mario kart you will love this game. It is awesome my GF bought me the switch for Christmas and even she is obsessed. Has a lot of tracks including tracks remastered from classic versions.

I've played all of the Mario kart games and tge newest one never becomes dull or boring. Every new game always exceeds the previous! Such a fun game to play alone or even better with friends! Get it!!

This game is the same as the deluxe version for the gamecube. Difference being you get all the download content and better graphics optimized for the switch. Online play happens to be pretty smooth as well.

We have the original Mario kart, 64 version, and this one, and it's far better than the others. Lots of tracks and racers, and tilting the controller to steer is pretty cool.

MK8D is the definitive version of the game; I have played the original version on Wii U and I love this deluxe version like a child. Really funny with friends, great graphics and a really good online mode.

It’s great. Super fun. I highly recommend you get an extra controller of playing with others. Splitting up the one controller into those mini controllers is not recommend unless you want finger cramps.

I really enjoy this game it is si much fun the game plays well I had no problem with it and I would definitely recommend everyone to try it out.

This is a really enjoyable title. Lots of characters, karts, motorcycles, tracks, and modes…including a really good battle mode. You will definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here.

Grand kids asked for this game and are really enjoying playing it. Great choice !

I’m glad that this title was on my nephew’s Christmas list. I had fun with my kids playing Mario Karts when they were younger.

Fun game- I love it as a throwback, and my kids love it too (3, 7, and 10). It maddens then that their parents can beat them in a video game, but that’s half the fun!

I’ve been a fan of the Mario kart games since they started coming out on the SNES. This one does not disappoint. With so many characters, and racing options, this game won’t get old for a long time.

Fun game. 4 player options. Easy to hook up to tv for larger viewing options. Background music is tolerable. Good for all ages
