This is family friendly and fun for hours. I haven't played video games since childhood but this brought it all back. The super mario franchise has always been great family fun for single or multi players.

Despite the duplicate release Mario Kart 8 looks great and plays great on the Switch. The DLC content is already unlocked for you, and if you never had a chance to do so before you can try your hand on the higher difficulty of the tracks that was released later.

Awesome game, features look excellent, very fun playing the game and time flies past when you are having fun!

Bought for my daughters’ 21st birthday. She loves this game. I love that I was able to buy it with my Best Buy Credit card.

if you've liked any of the previous games or if you're just a Nintendo or racing fan in general, this one is definitely worth picking up. It's a port from the Wii but with all the improvements you would expect on a new system.

Great game, fun for the whole family and when having company

It's Mario Kart. What else do you need? I started off with Mario Kart on Super Nintendo, and always get the next one. Been a Nintendo user my whole life. Can't wait for the next one.

Mario Kart was the first game we bought for the Nintendo Switch. All Mario games are real fun whether played individually or with another partner.

Got this as a present for my brothers 18th birthday, he’d been playing a few weeks then decided to challenge me. Only really ever playing Mario kart on Mobile, I picked it up and played no problem! (Beat him with all his practice too)

Good game that my niece loves and enjoy playing. I highly recommend this and it’s for all ages to play for family time.

Nintendo has continued their amazing tradition of Mario Kart games. I remember playing the original Mario Kart on the SNES and this game, with better graphics and gameplay, still continues the Mario Kart legacy!

Game is great in almost every regard, However the multiplayer has connectivity issues. When trying to connect to a lobby more often then not I am greeted with "A network error has occurred" This can be rather frustrating. Other then that there is hardly anything wrong with the game it has everything you would expect from a polished title: 60FPS Stable, Smooth graphics and vibrant colors, A lot of maps and modes to keep you busy for quite a while. I can happily say that this game is a must buy... a no-brainer really, For any Switch owner.

If you love the Wii MarioKart, you’ll love this! Game is filled with enjoyment and competition that will challege you but also your friends and family!

Fun game to play by myself and and even better game to make my friends mad playing

It's an enhanced version of the one available on the WiiU. But the WiiU was a terrible console as compared to the switch. Game has a bunch of tracks and online play is great. This is a must have title for the Switch.

This game is always a great party starter. Friends and family see this on the shelf and they say, "Let's play some Mario Kart!" The game is essentially a port of the Wii U MK8 version, but this version on the Nintendo Switch grants you all the DLC at no extra costs.

My 5 year old nephew likes this. He isn't super coordinated yet, but the game has a feature to guide inexperience players back onto the race track if they mess up, so he is able to complete races until he gets more experienced.

I was very hesitant about buying this game since I already own it for the wii u. My doubts were quickly put to rest however. The loading times, the graphics, and the character roster are insanely better. The new battle mode puts the previous one to shame.

This is one of our all time favorite games to play as a family. We have a lot of fun laughing at each other and ourselves as we race along the various courses and try to beat everyone. Played this on the WII and could not wait to play it on the Switch.
