After skipping out on the Wii U version of this game and almost completely giving up on Nintendo, I have had my faith restored in the company on delivering just fun and approachable games that anyone of any age can pick up and play. There is an easy mode that my 5 year old can utilize that keeps him on the track and he's even beaten me a few times in races while I can still use the ore harder mode of falling off edges and it's simply a blast! There is the complete game plus all released DLC content and the frame rate is buttery smooth. This game simply amazes what the Switch can really do in such a small package with some really good horsepower. Stop reading this already and go buy it...NOW!

This is a must have for any Mario or racing fans. It is easy to play and quickly get into matches. There are new courses and even remakes of the old classic Mario Kart courses.

This is by far the best cart racing game ever made. There are about a dozen different modes with close to 100 courses. The local coop is fun, and playing online is always a welcome challenge.

The 2-player multiplayer is where its at! Mario Kart does not disappoint. If you got a Switch, Mario Kart is just the best experience solo or with friends. Couch game or online. its just fab.

There’s so much to do in this game! I’ve been playing every chance I get. I love the freedom and exploration. Rock climbing is the only boring part, but then you get to sail down on a glider.

Amazing port of an already amazing game. If you enjoy MarioKart, this is a perfect way to revisit it.

My 8 year old and myself love this game!! It’s a great family game! One of the best Mario kart games made so far. Definitely recommend for any age!

Definitely the definitive version of Mario Kart 8. While upon release, this was almost entirely the same game as the Wii U version, 2022 updates have brought with it a ton of new tracks, as well as more on the way, plus the Switch version has new and improved multiplayer modes, the online connectivity remains as good as ever, and having on-to-go portable gameplay means you can't go wrong. It's the best selling Switch game for a very good reason.

Great fun! Play it everyday day after work. Waiting for the 9th edition.

As the first game on my switch, this games visuals truly show off the handheld tablets screen and the simple mechanics of Mario Kart make it simple to hand one JoyCon to a friend and get racing!

A fun game for the grandkids. Reminds me of the fun we had as young adults racing each other during parties. It's an inclusive game as long as the skill levels of the players generally match.

My mistake to not buy at least 2 of them, my four boys always want to play this first.
