Fun game for any age. If you have nintendo online subscription, you can race with gamers from around the world, or play with friends in the same room. It's all fun through and through.

fun to play with the fam and all the classic tracks

From the moment I popped this game into my Nintendo switch dock and played it off my TV I have been so impressed with just how amazing the graphics look, the gameplay feel and of course the countless amount of different race tracks. The battle mode with 5 balloons is also a positive addition to the MK franchise. A must own for any Mario fan whom owns the switch!

I picked up this game shortly after getting the Nintendo Switch for my son's birthday. I found that addition of Cappy was surprisingly a fun one, adding a new dimension to the game, interacting with different characters/creatures to complete objectives. The available option to work in 2 player mode is also nice so that my son can play with his sister (or ME!).

My kids love this game... I love this game... My wife loves this game... The last Mario Kart I've played was N64 so this was a huge upgrade for us. I have not found any flaws in this game. I love being able to split the controller to 2 and instantly create a fun battle. I also really love being on the go unlike any other game system out there for a game like this.

My favorite Mario Kart so far. Graphics look great and there's a good variety of courses to choose from. I think it's best to race against other people rather than the computer once you're comfortable with the controls, as it's more challenging. I rarely buy games at retail price, but I think this one's worth it. Especially if you can get the free steelbook too.

This game is so awesome, i would recommend this game if you just wanna sit down and have some fun racing. It will definitely bring out the competitor in you, especially in times when you're in first then you're hit with a blue shell seconds later a red one lol. I've only played in hand held mode and it's beautiful, so i imagine it's even better on big screen. Enjoy

Mario Kart 8 doesn't need an introduction or a review, it is definitely one of the must-have games on the switch platform. A perfect party game that keeps everyone hooked for hours and the race tracks do and mechanics that do not disappoint. I will suggest getting a grip for the joycons though else you will end up with a very sore thumb.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a improved version of the Wii U game with an all new Battle Mode. The switch release has 1080p docked with a better frame rate, 5 new characters all the dlc and you can hold 2 items which changes up the gameplay a bit from the original. In my opinion Mario Kart 8 was the best one to date and this version is an improvement that you can take anywhere.

Mario Kart is a long known staple game for Nintendo devices and often played with friends at parties as you can have up to 4 players with customizable characters. This version builds upon previous ones with new characters and for those who are not as skilled at racing, there is a very helpful feature to keep you within bounds of the track. This feature might hinder more experienced players who like taking paths close to the edge or over ramps that go over holes. Overall the design is appealing and the customizability is a fun bonus, fans of the game will enjoy it and beginners will enjoy the ability to pick all the race courses and characters from the very beginning.

Love, love, love. My son loves being able to choose characters and switch cars. I love that there is a definite ending spot (4 races), that makes it easy to monitor his amount of time playing unlike other games that are never ending.

Bought this game so the kids, and I could play on the weekends. This is an amazing game, that gives you rewards when completing the grand Prix. I would suggest this game for anyone wanting to play multiplayer games, and even if its individual play. When selecting the car/wheels to use make sure to select the stat option.
