Late adopter to the switch would definitely played plenty of Mario kart 64 back in college. Really cool to see all the throwback tracks in this game. My kids love it too and I like that even the younger one can just keep her finger on the gas and finish the races.

This game is a no brainer if you haven't already bought it for the Wii U. I struggled with buying it a second time for a second system with minimal updates. After purchasing, the assist modes are a game changer for small kids. My 2 year old can actually "play" a whole race with us. The graphics are surprisingly much better as well.

Mario Kaaaart EIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT! What a great game, my girlfriend and I thought of picking this up once I had informed her with the confidence of a thousand men that I would be waiting in line and buying a Switch. After she had granted me permission to do so, I knew I had to buy a game that she would want to play, in order to make sure she would not make me return the Switch as soon as I started falling into the single player Zelda hole. What a great game. Between competing with friends online (till end of 2017?), I've played this game every night. My only complaint is that in this game, they've made it so the items make the group bunch up more together, making it more of a competition. It's difficult to just run away with the game.

This is (to my understanding) most up to date and and complete version of Mario Kart. It includes all DLC. This is my first time playing a Mario Kart game and the first Nintendo game i've ever owned and it works great for on the go gaming. I like that races are pretty short as I can finish a race or two while waiting for a train or something.

Don’t have to say much about this game other than I’ve owned several versions throughout the years on many different Nintendo systems and I still love it. Although I miss the simplicity of the Nintendo 64 version, I still love this one all the same and would definitely recommend it, it’s just as fun!

I originally had doubts before buying this game a second time around (I originally played it on the Wii U) But after getting together with friends multiple times and playing this amazingly fun and competitive game, I realized that having this game on the Switch was completely worth it. Go out and buy your copy today, you won't regret it.

Mario Kart has been a staple for the Nintendo series ever since its first game released for the SNES. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has everything the WIi U edition had, but with enhanced graphics. The game is best played with others and it will always keep you entertained. With so many characters and tracks there is a ton of content to go through.

I've been playing Mario Kart since the SNES and they are consistently great games. I particularly like how this version has multiple variations of Battle mode. Even when the race is over my kids and I have a blast rewatching the highlight reel, as you ccan slow it down and play it in reverse using the joycons. Really glad I made this purchase

This game is so much fun. I’ve always loved the Mario Kart games but this one is on another level.

I’ve been playing this nonstop with my younger brother, and the shortcuts I find never fail to surprise me

This was our first game purchase for the Nintendo Switch and it was a great choice. The grandkids are having lots of fun learning to play the game.

Game might be rated e but get a few friends over and you might need a pair of boxing gloves with your switch. So far it brings back the memories of old mario kart 64 only with tons of more characters and maps to play on. The balancing is as you would expect in any older mario kart game, sometimes losing is winning

Mario Kart 8 is a lot of fun but also is more difficult than before. Very hard to win but the graphics are good and the game play is nice

Really love the Mario Kart games from Nintendo. This game is awesome. I played the demo with my gf at Best Buy. We knew we had to get it afterwards. She wanted it to practice for when we have a rematch. She couldn't beat me the 3 times we played Mario Kart 8 in the store. We easily bought the game at Best Buy. The workers were great.

Another need to own game for the switch!! Actually is a lot of fun offline or with family and friends! Such a blast and love all the old race tracks included in it. Lots of them bring back memories. Greatest mario kart ever!!!
