Who doesn’t love this game! So much fun with kids or adults, it’s exactly the way you remember it but upgraded graphics.

The best racing game for kids and parties hands down. The 200cc mode keeps it fun and challenging for adults as well! Highly reccomend for every switch owner. Also reccomend getting the steering wheel joycon adapters for extra racing fun!

My kids got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, I wasn’t sure if it would be something they would enjoy, but they have played everyday. Mario Cart Deluxe allows my kids to connect to the TV and compete against each other. I have so much fun watching them!!! They love this game

I love this new version of Mario kart, it has a lot more courses and adventures that you can play. It play really well. I highly recommend if you like this style of game. I also like best buys price for it as it was a little cheaper then it normally is.

Thoroughly enjoying this game. The possibilities are endless, and surprisingly the online play is seamless and smooth. I was worried about it considering the device can only be wireless. Looking very forward to the next iteration of this game, especially after they really start taking advantage of the switch hardware.

If you own a switch, then this game is required to be owned and needs to be part of your game library. The graphics are great and the game play is very fun. Also, it's fun to play against friends and family online.

I can not compare this to the Mario Kart 8 that was for the Wii U since I never got it, and the last Mario Kart game I played was Double Dash, but this game was fun and can be challenging (well for me at least). I have played this on both the joy cons and the Pro Controller and I Think they both work well for this game.

Driver assists help even my soon to be 3 year old play this game. The Mario Kart franchise shines bright on the Switch with the updated version of Mario Kart 8. All characters are unlocked from the start but you will need to collect coins to unlock additional karts/bikes, tires, and gliders. Having a lot of fun with it.

Truly one of the best video games I’ve ever played! It looks great, plays fast, and multi-player mode is a blast! The fun level of family gatherings over this past holiday season kicked up a notch—just by breaking out this game! Nintendo did itself proud with this title.

Is it worth upgrading from the Wii U version? Probably not. However, it is a fantastic game to play with friends and family. The game supports local multiplayer with up to 4 players regardless of whether the Switch is docked or undocked. If you haven't purchased this game on the Wii U, then you should pick it up now!

Classic game from Nintendo that the entire family can play (up to 4 players), even if you're not into gaming. Us parents can play with our kids, 4 & 7 and everyone has fun. Unfortunately, the price rarely goes down on the Mario series, so you just have to bite the bullet.

Mario Kart 8 is the best kart racing game Nintendo has made in a long time. It strikes a careful balance between refining old ideas while introducing fresh new ones. Admittedly, its gorgeous graphics and jazzy orchestrated soundtrack bolster its presentation, but you’re getting a lot more than just looks with this one

My kid is 8 and she is just starting to get into gaming, and this is a perfect game for us to play together. It's very reminiscent of older Mario Kart games. It has the same smooth controls and fun gameplay, but with very improved graphics. Get the wheels to put the joycons into, it increases the experience.

First game I purchased for my new Nintendo switch. Brings back the old memories from the 64 version. Love this game! Great for parties and family events.

This Mario kart is awesome. I’m old school and used to love the original but now you can customize your ride and it’s so much fun!!! I love that they brought back old tracks from different games as well. If you like Mario kart you need this!!!

I only really played the N64 Mario kart avidly. So my review will be based on that. I'm really into this game, really fun to play by yourself but way more fun to play in groups! I would say the definition of this game is amazing. The style of the courses and option for characters/design of vehicle is very thorough.

I own this game on the WiiU and wasn't sure if I would pick this up at full price for the Switch, but I'm glad I did. This game comes with all the DLC and the battle mode that wasn't available in the previous version. The new Splatoon characters are fun to play as well. If you own a Switch, definitely pick this one up!
