Mario kart updated. If you like the old ones you’ll like the new . As a grandfather this is one of those games that I am still able to compete,and keep up the kid’s experiencing them for the first time. Lots of fun . We love Nintendo!

This game is so much fun. It takes me back to the simpler times of when i was a child. My son loves it and its a game the whole family can enjoy. Biggest complaint is my blood pressure spiking when im about to cross the finish line and i get hit by a turtle shell and lose my position. Good times

bought so my son can play this masterpiece of a game. He has yet to finish a single lap before he quits goes to the home screen and does something else. I like the game so i would recommend to others

Mario Kart 8 is the best Mario Kart to date! The customization options available are endless along with a character roster big enough for everyone. This game took all of the things that made Mario Kart great and made them even better! This is hands down a must buy for every Nintendo Switch owner!

Hands down the best family video game for game night. Hubby and I loved all of the old race courses we remember from former gaming systems and the whole family enjoys working together to collect coins and unlock different items.

I bought this game for my 10 y/o son and he loves it! MarioKart Deluxe 8 got amazing graphics, fantastic sounds and awesome colorful race tracks. Every race is a marvel which captures you until the end. Now it is the game of the whole family...

Not only does this include the already great game that was on Wii U, but you get all the DLC included as well as classic battle mode and new racers as well. Definite improvement over the Wii U version, and now you get that Mario Kart 8 goodness on the go. Highly recommended for the whole family.

Game looks great on the Switch. All DLC content is nice and the assisted driving works great for kids. It's not the games fault but the controller are different so it might take some practice on both of them, especially the top two buttons. Split screen isn't so bad but we haven't tried four players yet.

We've played this one a ton! I bought it for my son/family. He'd been playing a lot of apps in which characters are running by default and you just have to tap to jump or swipe to move. We tried a couple of side-scrolling console games but you need to be a bit more coordinated developmentally to move and jump at the same time. Racing games end up being a nice transition as you just have to hold the 'go' button and then steer. Not much to coordinate or time in general. Mario Kart though does have power ups and jumping/turning that do add this coordination piece, but given the different difficulty settings, we're able to have a lot of fun and success with this one!

Some of the most fun I've had gaming in recent memory. Plays beautifully handheld and docked. Love the online multiplayer experience. The game is a joy to play in its own right, even without the "nostalgia icing" on top. Strong recommend.

This game is wicked fun. I grew up playing Mario Kart on Super Nintendo and N64 and must say this game is so fun to play on the Switch. Its a port from the Wii U (which I never owned) so I didnt mind getting it. But if you own a Wii U and have this game its nothing new.

Our grandkids have this game and play it all the time. So, when we bought a Switch, we bought this game. We love being able to play together, especially with our grandkids. And, there's more to this game than just picking a driver and car, if you're up against the parents of the grandkids! ;-)

As someone that grew up playing the original Mario Kart, this one brought back lots of fun memories. Great graphics and great fun. Great for all ages of the family.

Easily the best Mario Kart Game ever made. HD Graphics, a few dozen tracks, and loads of characters with NO in-app purchases needed to unlock any of it. My family and I have had loads of fun with it, and I'm guessing yours will too.
