i love this game so much fun , me and my gf play it a lot

Having missed this game on the wii u it was a no brainer that i needed it on the switch. To my surprise the entire family wanted to join in on the fun over thanksgiving. Having the switch portable with 2 controllers around at all times it makes this game the perfect party game.

Bought this game for my grandson’s 10th birthday. He loves it and his older sister who is 16 likes to play with him with it. It seems like it helped bring them together. I’m very satisfied.

Very fun. I was surprised at all the character options. The last Mario kart game I played was snes, I loved battle mode. This version is a nice upgrade. Battle mode is a little more complicated in this version compared to snes in my opinion, but for regular gamers Im sure it's not. Fun game.

I'm using this to teach my 5-year-old how to play games. Learning on the Switch. It's a great addition to the old line with lots of the old tracks available. And there are some Easy settings that make it impossible to fall off the track - making it a great game to start him on.

Great fun for all. Have the online expansion which effectively doubles the number courses, still a great gift.

Mario Kart is such a vibrant and exciting game! It's fast and chaotic, but in a wonderful way. Having played the Wii U version I waited to get this on sale but I love it all the same. The nice thing is that it includes the previous DLC and extras. It makes an excellent party game!

MK8 Deluxe is a great party game. If you never, ever want to see the people you play with ever again. It includes all of the DLC from the Wii U version and you don't have to unlock any of the tracks, just the kart parts. Just be warned, you will hate your friends for days after playing with them.

I got mario kart 8 in wii u before. It is a very fun and good game. It needed to buy extra DLC for characters/stages in wii u. The bad side is that is an old game re-make to nintendo switch. The good side is to buy this deluxe version to have all the characters/stages and no need to buy extra DLC. :)

The game overall is a lot of fun. I would recommend. It is family friendly and a great option for family game night. I would recommend getting a second controller. After playing a while on 2 player using the small Switch controller, your thumb will start to hurt after a while.

I purchased this game on the WiiU and loved it enough to buy it again on the Switch just for the portability. It is mostly the same game with the difference being everything is already unlocked on the Switch version. Would highly recommend as it is a staple for any Switch owner.

What can I say? It's Mario Kart. If you are buying this probably already know what to expect. I would probably consider it my favorite next to the SNES version. The graphics on this game are colorful and gorgeous as well. Very happy with my purchase.

this has always been one of my favorite games since I was a kid! I love how the original characters and all their attributes are given a good amount of detail. Very fun game, and very easy to play with my 5 year old!

All the issues the Wii U version had, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fixes them. Most notably the battle mode of course, finally it's back arena style. Plus lots of fun modes to play too. Drifting has been improved with the ultra mini turbo. Load times are faster. It's just the definitive Mario Kart experience.

Out of the 4 games I bought my 7 year old daughter she plays her Mario kart the most and it was the last game she opened up I almost exchanged it but I’m glad I didn’t because she loves it

Sharing nearly the same content as the Wii U version, this game includes all the DLC and brand new battle modes. As a long-time fan of Mario Kart, this entry hits the spot in almost every way. Fun and easy to control with wonderful visuals and music. Always fun to play either alone or online.

This game is fun and challenging! With so many options for characters and vehicles you would think the courses would be lacking, but they are not. This is blast to play with folks who grew up playing Mario kart. Well done Nintendo!

I own a Wii U and have the original for it. The Switch amped up the graphics added some extra levels and made the controls a lot better. It was well worth buying again and will keep you entertained for a while. They even upped the difficulty to 200cc!
