Excellent game, I really enjoyed playing this game. It brings back memories of playing the original but with a more futuristic feeling. I purchased this game for my grandson but now I want a copy for myself.

I owned this game on WiiU and thought it would be redundant to buy it on Switch. Here's the thing, it isn't. The WiiU takes forever to boot this up, the Switch will toss you into an online match before the WiiU even takes you to the opening splash screen. This is the best version of Mario Kart

As a fan of Nintendo systems, I have played many different Mario kart games, but with Mario Kart 8 deluxe, the best Mario kart game has arrived. With all the new stages and the most characters in a game, plus all the new kart combinations to be made, there is no lack in content with this game.

Absolutely great game. Can easily put many hours into its single player and on top of that it offers a great multiplayer mode. Definitely not the first choice switch game if you can only buy one but you won’t be disappointed

This is an incredibly fun game for both single and multiplayer. I mastered the Wii U version and still continue to play this one. The single player against AI and Time Trials is fun and the multiplayer is the best it has ever been. If you have a Switch then buy this game.

Played this game a lot as a child. The game is a slightly different, but just as good as I remember, if not better. Only thing I don't like is the feel of the controller due to it's size. Definitely recommend the game though.

The graphics look beautiful in 1080p HD. The new racing tracks are really creative. There are some returning retro tracks that have been completely revamped for Mario Kart 8, such as Moo Moo Meadows (Wii), Yoshi's Circuit (GameCube), and Music Park (3DS).

nintendo took what was already the best mario kart by far and then, via the switch's portability, made it about three times even better by letting you stomp kids online at any time, anywhere. switch owners need this. non switch owners need this too just to show some respect to the king.

This game is a great game to play with the kids. Easy to pickup the dynamics of it and both racing and battle are addicting. 5 stars for both customers service in finding it for me and fir gameplay!

Love Mario Kart since the SNES version and this one is much better than all the rest. Controls and everything feel like a N64 style Mario Kart with better graphics and smoother gameplay. If you like Mario kart it’s a must have.

I first played Mario Kart when it came out on the Super Nintendo. This is the first time I have played Mario Kart since then and it is night and day compared to the original. I got a Switch just to play this game and I am not disappointed.

We bought the Switch for our 5 Year Old. We bought the Fortnite package because we couldn’t find any other options even though she won’t be playing that game. She wanted Mariokart and totally loves it. We’ve been playing with her

As a child of the 80's and early 90's, I LOVE Mario Kart games. And this one is no different, with one glaring flaw. The "rubber banding" of the competitors is outrageous. Maybe it's the "fog of time" clouding my memory, but I don't recall the programming being so egregious. If you are in first place, you aren't going to get anything useful from a cube, only bananas or coins. Other than that, the family really enjoys this game.

The changes and improvements to multiplayer are great! If your goal is to get first on any grand prix beyond 50cc, then prepare to have to re-do races over and over again for the trophy. The AI will bombard you with attacks right before the finish in the 4th race of the series most of the time.

Mario Kart is so much fun! There are a ton of characters and courses to choose from, and whether the kids or adults are playing it's been so entertaining for the whole family!

Super fun game to play with family and friends! I would highly suggest buying the pro controllers to play because the ergonomic design leaves less tension in your hands after long rounds of racing. Have fun!

So much fun even at my age, I'm 57, brought it for my 10yr old son, normally I don't play to many video games because I don't even have a clue about what to do and alsoI find most games kind of scary with those scary monster like creatures. But Mario Kart is such fun I love playing, who doesn't.

Not sure if it’s because I haven’t played Mario Kart in a long time for a home console, but it feels very different to drive/drift. It doesn’t take that long to learn if you’ve played it your whole life. I love how many places there are, can’t wait to unlock more things.

If you're a fan of the any of the Mario Kart series, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of characters and cars to choose from and plenty more to be unlocked. My kids love playing this game.
