Like any Mariokart game it is fun with friends. You can hold 2 items which is pretty cool and comes with all the maps unlocked. Still have to unlock the carts and accessories including Gold Mario. Great game!

i got this game for my 5 year old son, and occasionally play together with him. i love the graphic although its not super duper great like other bigger consoles but its has its own class, and it is very nintendo like though i dont know how to explain it but when i play nintendos game like this one i suddenly could careless about graphich and dont get me wrong, ive been playing gta5 some other great graphic games in 4k at ultra settings since ive finished building my dual gtx 1080 last year and although i rarely play games these days i do still obses with great graphic to behonest. but i really appreciate nintendo family oriented games because they bring family together and just be happy playing games!

This game has always been a classic. It also has old tracks from games that came before. Plenty of characters to choose from as soon as you start. All inclusive

I was worried that not enough had changed from Mario Kart 8 to the deluxe version/update. The graphics are amazing and game play is much smoother. There are new characters and maps as well as abilities.

Bought the Switch Mario Kart 8 bundle for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. Plays it almost every day. Need to get another set of controllers so more than two can play at a time.

Brought from the WiiU library, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features all the dlc and characters unlocked save for golden Mario. Great game with reworked multiplayer battles, this should be in every Switch library.

This game is a must have for the Nintendo Switch. Easy to play for any skill level, and provides hours of fun with the family.

I felt I had to give this game four stars based on the fact that at the end of the day it's still a port from the Wii U, so if you played that version and bought the DLC then you've played this. If it had been released at a discount I could excuse that, but it was released at full price. As for the actual game itself, it's amazing and I'd highly recommend it. Just don't waste your money on the Wheels (I reviewed those as well)...

This game is super fun and brings back many Wii Mario Kart battle memories for our family. Easy to use and as fun as ever for all ages and skill levels.

Mariokart has been part of my life since I was a kid and even now it’s always fun to play with friends and family even when it gets competitive lol. Definitely recommend as a family game

This is a must if you own a Switch! Fun as always and adds even more characters and karts so you never have to drive the same one. Go to bust buy and buy it right now you won’t regret it!

You can never really go wrong with the Mario Kart franchise. Playing alone or online or with friends (locally or online) the game delivers what it's best at doing — being chaotically fun. Sure it may be stressful when you get the red shell, blue shell, etc. combo which may bring you from 1st place to last place but without items the game would be pretty dull. The upgraded battle mode from the Wii U version along with all the dlc and extra characters and kart parts make it a worthy edition to the Nintendo Switch collection. Fully recommended. Although for those that bought the Wii U version along with the dlc it might be harder to persuade but if you value having fun on the go on a more powerful console, just get it.

even if you owned the Wii U version, this is still worth buying. even just for the portability alone. but the revamped battle mode is definitely a plus too as well as better graphics and steady frame rates.

Great for friends and family. It is simple to play but if you want depth there are things to master like shortcuts and secrets to uncover. Fun for all! Would definitely recommend to pick up for the switch!!

Mario kart has always been a must have on Nintendo consoles and with the switch its no exception. A must have for multiplayer fun. Good graphics and fun new tracks including remakes of the classics.

Great game! My family and i love it! I've played the very first Mario Kart all the way up to this one. It's very cool to play with my wife and kids. It's also awesome that with the Nintendo subscription i can show them whose boss on all of the older courses. Awesome game!
