Great game and fun for the family! A must have game for any switch owner and Nintendo fan.

Game is fun, easy to pick up and play anywhere, and can be played 2 player with no equipment beyond what comes with the switch system.

The game has all the DLC included from the Wii U version, but also has new characters and some new gameplay modes. A great game!

I couldn't be any happier with this version of Mario Kart 8. The extra playable characters like the Splatoon characters are amazing! The online play has completely exceeded my expectations. It brings me back to the good ol' Mario Kart 7 days (which even with the original Mario Kart 8 for Wii U having been out, I still always resorted to playing MK7 for online play) until now with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The all new battle modes and new stages are pretty fantastic too. If I could go e this game a 10-star rating, I would.

This is an awesome game. Def worth the hype. Its super fun. It brings the old game back to life and adds new elements as well.

Mario Kart is Mario Kart, if you don't know what you're getting into then you've been missing out for some time. Although I'm more of a CTR fan cause I like the aggressive drift system and shortcuts, Mario Kart is always a good go-to for when you have a group of friends around and don't know what to play. If you played MK8 on Wii U, you won't be getting much in the way of extra content, but it's nearly a crime to not have this and have a switch.

The game is fun, but loses its appeal quickly. If you're like me you won't want to spend hours and hours playing this game each time. 30-45 minutes and I find myself ready to do something else. Not exactly a bad thing but it makes you second guess the purchase price of $60 for a port of a WiiU game.

Don't get me wrong, this game is SO much fun! I absolutely love it! I do wish that the game would let you customize local races more. For example, you're only allowed to race in cups (4 tracks at a time) until you can switch characters/karts. I wish there were a way for us to be able to just race one track at a time, and perhaps change the number of laps as well. The battle mode is pretty fun, but kind of chaotic. I might be in the minority that can't really tell what the heck is going on, despite having played many car-battle games in the past. I also wish that there were more to unlock and a wider variety of characters to play as. All previously released DLC comes with the game and you can only unlock further kart parts and a variation of a certain character. As far as the characters, do we *really* need the 7 Koopalings? I would much rather have had 7 other characters from Nintendo franchises, but whatever. All that being said, I absolutely have a blast every time I play this game. It is fun to play on your own, online, or (especially) with a group of people. I would 100% label it as a Switch must-have.

My boys absolutely love this game and it's their go to game on the switch. Great graphics, fun tracks, just a great game overall.

We play this as a family because all ages can enjoy it, the 5 yr old has an issue with the pro controller so he has to use the half joy con. I have a lot of fun beating my kids at a game I've played since I was their age.

I bought my son a Nintendo Switch for Christmas and also purchased Mario Kart along with the console. The whole family was able to join in and play. This Mario Kart allows different levels for all player and many options to keep everyone interested. Mario Kart is a classic Nintendo game, and with each new version, it get better all the time with better graphics, more choices in levels and great choices in build your own vehicle. I must buy!

Easy enough for my 6 yr old and still challenging enough for my 14 yr old and myself! Super fun!!

Its mario kart baby and you know what that means. It's time to lose friends and be angry at family members as you trash talk and cheat your way to victory by blowing them up and playing dirty with the good old banana peel. If you've played any other mario kart and enjoyed that feeling you get from unleashing an arsenal of attacks or securing a last minute win when you thought you'd lose, then this is for you.

Next gen Mario. New tracks, characters, vehicles and awesome graphics. Drivability seems a lot smoother than the Wii U. Great game!

We always like playing this game. I like that we can now play online VS friends. That was added after the game came out. I don't know if that feature is available on the older WiiU Version. It also has a nice feature to play against other people nearby wirelessly via Switch to Switch without a network connection. The form factor of the Switch makes this game worth buying again. This a game that easily played on the switch screen. I cant say that for a lot of other games.
