This game has a lot to offer. It can be played single player or multiplayer online or offline. It has a grand prix mode with four difficulties. It has multiplayer mini games. This game has some of the best graphics on the Nintendo Switch. And it has a great soundtrack. It is rated E for everyone, so it is family friendly. I bought this game when it first came out and I still pick it up and play it regularly. This game has a ton of replay value!

If you like all the original Mario kart this one is just as good and adds additional tracks etc. nice game to start off with

Fun game to play with your partner and kids. I've also purchased the wheels as well. It's the best starter game for someone who isn't really into video games and for young kids just starting out. I just purchased a Nintendo switch for my niece's birthday and Mario Kart is the first game I'll purchase for her. That way we can play online together as well. I'm looking forward to Mario Kart 9.

Just like on the Wii U....but way more characters and go carts!!! Especially fun with multiplayer (4+ people). Absolutely love it.

Kids love the game! It constant action and alot of turns and twists that occur in the game. Its colorful and at this point they don't get bored with it. Its small so ensuring they don't loose it is my biggest concern.

Mario Kart 8 is the best kart racing game Nintendo has made in a long time. It strikes a careful balance between refining old ideas while introducing fresh new ones. Admittedly, its gorgeous graphics and jazzy orchestrated soundtrack bolster its presentation, but you’re getting a lot more than just looks with this one – although I spent an awful lot of time gawking at the details in slow-motion, the fast and furious pace of racing with friends both locally and online is what really kept me coming back.

Granddaughter says it's great fun and she likes that you can battle and challenge your friends.

Mario Kart is always a good, fun game to play. Being able to play the full console version on the go with the Switch it awesome.

Mario Kart is one of those franchises that you kind of just have to own. This installment is no exception. It takes what was already an incredible game for the Wii U and ups the ante with an improved battle mode, more tracks and more racers out of the box. If you own a Switch, you need to own this game. Kids will love it, parents will love it, even grandparents will love it. Do yourself a favor and pick this game up. It's an amazing alternative to Zelda. You'll have two incredible games on your Switch.

Several of the circuits are the old ones and will bring back fun memories.there are also fun new characters, cars, and circuits!

All character are out at the start, all tracks ready to go, and a new battle mode. Awesome pick for the Switch to take on the go.

I was a bit skeptic that this version of MK, could deliver the older versions which are now Classics. I was wrong, even though it took me a bit to get used to the difference in the dynamics of steering and drift as supposed to the older versions once I found my groove I was loving the wild and colorful track's and nods to older version tracks. I was so impressed that they could take yet again a simple game premise and give it enough wrinkles to keep it fresh! I love it
