As an adult, I thought this could be a fun boredom killer during these Covidish times. It is indeed fun, and would be a great game for younger players. As an adult, I got a bit bored with it after some tome, and find myself staying away from it. It is a very good game if you like racing games. Good graphics and smooth play.

This is a fun game probably more of a multiplayer game. The Grand Prix single player definitely Lacks the unlockables. Almost all characters and karts are already unlocked the only thing that you really unlock are the different parts for certain carts bikes and things of that nature

One thing I liked most about this game? The graphics. Its stunning. This is my first Mario game on switch and I love it. The music is great and smooth visuals. Running it on my switch OLED and absolutely love it. It is a must for every switch lover.

We are loving this game. The visuals are crisp. The frame rate is high. This is a wonderful rerelease of a fantastic mario kart title. While I find the default driving assistance to get in the way and it's annoying to need to change it once a race starts, some in my household need it to compete. It's leveled the skill gap in my house so I can't complain much. It made couch multiplayer more fun.

I had previously purchased the Wii U version but never bothered to pick up the DLC since the system itself ended up being more of a dust collector for me than a console. This game comes with all the DLC content from that one and is getting semi-regular updates. Best part is they fixed the previously awful battle mode and replaced it with a proper one. Good time all around.

Nintendo is a household name with credibility, what happened with the wii u is nothing short of a tragedy. I don't blame anybody in my position who skipped the wii u entirely. But missing out on Mario Kart was the worst collateral damage of last gen. If you're lucky enough to pick up a Switch, Mario Kart is a must have! Fun for the whole family and loads of content to keep everyone happy.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a very fun, well-made game. If you have enjoyed previous versions of Mario Kart, this one will most likely go over well for you. There are a large number of tracks and characters in this version so there is an incredible variety. The main negative for me with this version is that everything is unlocked from the beginning of the game. That may be a good thing for some people, but I particularly enjoy the process of completing tasks to unlock new characters and tracks. There are unlockable components for the karts which is great, I just wish they had kept in the unlocking method that was present in the Mario Kart 8 version for Wii U. Speaking of the Wii U version, if you owned that one, there is not a significant reason to buy the Switch version unless you missed out on the DLC packs or would like to play against other friends with Switch systems.
