Super fun for the whole family! I am in my mid 30s as well as my husband and we have younger kids ranging from two to the age of 14 and it’s fun for all of us to play together.

This is SO fun! I love how they revamped some of the favorite places. It looks great and it is more fun to play, because it's not as easy to just run into things when you are cruising along (except the players or AI). I love that! It makes playing it much more enjoyable.

By far the best Mario Kart game. Tons of fun and can't stop playing.

If you've played a mario kart game before it's the same formula. The graphics are great the game play is great. And it's really fun playing with a group of friends.

Being someone who used to play Mario kart back in the day when it first came out, it was really fun and amazing to see how far this title had come in terms of graphics and level of detail. Playing it really brought back memories of when I was a kid. There are lots of players to choose from as well as levels. Grab a friend and have some fun!

Mario games never dissapoint me. This new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch is somehow harder and have more competitive COMs than the previous series for DS or 3DS. However, this game is perfect if you want to play with multiple people/friends, and you can even go online to compete with other players.

Since I owned a copy of the original game in the Wii U, I can say for sure if you don't already own one for the Wii U, then this is a good buy. Not only it comes all package with the DLC(s), it have updated resolution from 720p to 1080p when docked. Plus, for being on the switch, you can take it to go! A fan of Mariokart won't be disappointed.

Chance/luck is often a major factor in winning races. The worst is when you're in first place, and all you keep getting for items are coins, which help you in no way to defend yourself from incoming shells. Sure, they increase your top speed, but when you've already maxed them out at 10, they're completely useless. Sure, this gives less experienced players a way to catch up and have a chance, but I like to play to win by skill. So other than this nitpick and not getting the noisebox to defend against blue shell when you need it most, the game is still pretty fun, and having to earn a bunch of coins to unlock gold glider is a huge incentive for replay. After unlocking everything, racing against the ghosts in 200cc time trials and going online is pretty fun, even if you constantly fail.

This version of the Classic Mario Kart series is a great installment full of courses and battle stadiums, both old and new. The controls are simple to use with the options of using the gyroscope inside the controller or even assisted acceleration and steering. Play with a friend on the system or go up against friends or the online community.

I liked this game so much I didn't hesitate to buy it again. If you are expecting something way different from the Wii U version (with the season pass) then you'll be a little disappointed. In this version they added better battle modes and maps, three characters, and a few items. They made it where you could hold two items instead of one as well. Great game.

This is a fun game. I have nieces and nephews between the ages 4yrs - 17yrs and they all have a great time playing when they visit. It also keeps adults entertained. Love it and highly recommend it.

Nintendo is back with another installment of Mario Kart! It's absolutely amazing and the graphics are stunning. One of my favorite things about this version, you can play as Link from Zelda! Also, there are like 12 grand prix level groups. Half of them contain levels from past Mario Karts, but those are always fun to go back and play! Love.this.game!

Even though there isn't a lot of difference between this and Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U it is still a solid addition to the series. It has every racer unlocked except Gold Mario and all the courses. So you don't have to go thru the whole thing multiple times to get your favorite driver or course. Plus now you can take it anywhere.

I loved Mario Kart on N64 back in the day. Now that my son has a switch, it was a no-brainer that we needed Mario Kart. There are some cool upgrades, and the graphics are amazing!
