Grew up on Mario Kart, so this game makes me feel like a carefree kid again and I love it. It's been a great way to connect and play something lighthearted with friends online. My only complaint is that you have to pay for a Nintendo shop account to play online with others. It's only 4 bucks a month (or about 20 bucks a year), so it's nothing too major—just wish it was a free feature. Otherwise pick this game up!!

Fun games to play alone or with others. My 5 year old really enjoys it.

Mario Kart isn't intended to be a racing sim like Gran Turismo or Forza. It's always been a fun racing game meant to be played with others. We love having this game, and it's the best Mario Kart to date.

It was a really worth it. Uying these Nintendo Switch.. my son loves it.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch is still the same game, but that doesn't make it any less fun. The games looks beautiful on the Switch and the controllers make the game even easier to play with all my friends and family.

I have Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U, and the Switch version comes with a few differences. First, I prefer the controls for this version over the Wii U. Much easier to handle the turns and speed. Second, there are a few extra characters and differences with the vehicles, wheels, and such. Third, getting to have up to two bonuses at your disposal and use the different actions when you want is a game changer. The game is great and I can't wait to get a big group of people together to play on a big screen tv.

All the content the Wii U game had plus much more. This game looks great on the handheld and multiplayer is good fun for all. If you had the Wii U version I still recommend getting this as there's enough to justify buying again.

Fun game to play other players in. Not always friendly as game can get competitive but thats what makes the game fun

While this game is almost the same as the Wii U version, it is improved and better. New characters and a new game mode make this a better game. Plus the Switch doesn't have many games right now so I feel this game is a must buy.

My kids love this game. They won’t get off of it. At first mil thought I only bought it for my kids but I started playing it and it reminded me of my childhood when I use to play on Nintendo 64

Amazing! The family loves it! We had the Wii U version and this is a definite improvement. I wasn’t expecting the visuals to be so much better but they were very much so.

My daughter ask this for Christmas. Oh boy she love it and enjoy playing its me. Thank you nitendo for bringing back childhood memory that I'm able to share with my daughter.

How could Mario Kart not be fun? Grant it, this is the exact same game for the WII U that I already have with a few perks and stuff. I can't wait for an all new Mario Kart game but this one is a ton of fun. Enjoy!

This game allows for very simple controls if you want them for young kids. Which is great when so many of today's games require complex controls. Of course you can take the training wheels off for older kids to have fun as well.

My wife doesn’t play video games generally, but she loves this game! It’s always a good time when you have nothing else to do. Highly recommended for Mario Kart vets and newcomers!

Bought this game along with the switch. This game is a good starter game because you can play multiple players and have a great time with a group. Game is very intense especially in battle mode. A great family game to play
