I play this all of the time with my partner who is new to gaming, and as always, Mario Kart is a great game. I like how you get classic Mario Kart feel to such a newer version of the game, with even more diabolical ways to thwart your enemies :)

It's Mario Kart. The same old Mario Kart. Race Nintendo characters in go carts or motorcycles. Throw items. Get wasted by a Blue Shell before you reach the finish line and end up in 6th. But dang is it ever fun... Playing with others and sharing the joy cons is a treat. It's awesome that you can play with anyone anywhere. And playing on the small screen is not a problem.

This is a great game for the Nintendo Switch. The new smart steering mode lets the less skilled players compete with the experts in your house. If you've played mario cart before, you know how fun it is. If this is your first go, you are in for a treat. Battle mode lets you take on others by collecting items which keeps the game interesting when you get tired of racing.

Mario kart has always been great, but other than 7 and the game boy version, it was all on console, and wasn't handheld. When it was on console it had great graphics, but wasn't portable. When it was on handheld before 8 deluxe, it was portable, but poor graphics. With this version you get the best of both worlds! A portable, visually stunning, experience of Mario kart. Perfect.

Probably the best Mario Kart game since N64!! So many tracks and characters. Endless fun and competition. Looks fantastic and the controls feel great. Love this.

Another fun party game for the whole family. The game is simple and yet deep in execution. It is not only for the racing fans, the silliness alone and all the variety of all the tracks and characters combination will keep you and your family occupied for a long long time, well worth the money.

Great game for all ages. Easy to play. My 6 year old’s first video game and she learned quickly how to play and use the controllers.

Great game showed up as described works as it should

Easy game to learn and fun for everyone. Classic game with new courses and features. Updated characters and customizable items. Interactive course map and 4-player option. 2-player online option which is challenging! The online opportunity is cheap and so worth it. We have convinced others to buy the Switch and this game.

Mario Kart has always been a childhood favorite and so playing again brings back memories. Highly recommend!!

Had to buy multiple of these to play online with family members that I grew up with. Connecting with them around the world on the Nintendo family expansion plan and still play the older snes and n64 versions on the switch too. Thanks Nintendo and Best Buy!

Fun Game. I used to play Mario Kart DS a lot as a kid so this game is a total upgrade definitely recommend.

Loved the graphics and design of the game. This version is better than the original on game cube.

Mario Kart 8 assembles the best features and mechanics from the various entries into the franchise and makes them truly shine. This is made all the better on the switch with its ability to be on-the-go. There's never been a more satisfying time where you can get your karting on in fantastic HD anytime, anywhere. A must have for any switch owner to add to their collection.

Best graphics, most amount of tracks, endless fun. A must- have.

The best MarioKart game ver made. Very fun for kids and no so kids. It is the perfect game to play with the entire family. Graphics are not much better than the game for WiiU, but it is not important. It includes a lot of tracks and with the different powers you get every race is different.

Overall a great product, great graphics cute characters fun to play. We love this game it is a great addition to the many versions of Mario Kart! Only issue I have is Best Buys shipping for some items. This one required a signature but not my expensive laptop or my switch.
