This version of Mario Kart 8 is the definitive edition. It's loaded with tracks and characters with still some things to unlock and customize. Best of all, battle mode is back! This is a must own for any Nintendo Switch owners.

Great game a must have for switch. If Nintendo see this I’m only reviewing because Best Buy keeps spamming my email with “review your purchases and get a 400$ gift card”. I want to see if the gift card is real or some free review scam. Best Buy protection is a must need for all electronics If you follow my reviews, I’ll mention if I ever get a 400$ gift card. (Like the one they promise in the emails)

This game is one that unites people of all ages, and united my family in one spot without devices for the first time in a long time. Tons of family fun on this!

Whilst I can understand why Wii U users may feel disappointed looking at the price of this game, in my opinion it's still worth it. The game is great and still extremely fun on the Switch. It's a must have for the Switch.

If you have never played the original Mario kart 8, then this deluxe version is the version for you, as it has all characters, including the Wii U DLC, and new characters from the start, plus a brand new battle mode. As someone who had already played Mario kart 8 extensively, Mario kart 8 deluxe is fun, but doesn't add much else to the table from the original. I only put in 25 hours before it's novelty wore off. I can't say it's a must buy for people who already played through the original Wii U version.

Easy game for everyone in the family to play. Once my parents figured out the controls they didnt want to stop playing.

Its Mario Kart 8 on the go! How can you go wrong with this? It is basically the Wii U version with all the DLC and a few very minor changes. I hope they get us some extra DLC, but its worth the money just to have it portable!

Nice game and friendly to play, excellent graphics and funny charters.

Graphics are excellent. Motion sensitivity of switch joycons is much better than the wiiu remotes. My kids ages 9 to 12 love playing this game and I enjoy it as well. We like the compact design and portability.

For any Mario fan same great fun and with friends even more fun LOL . Game sells itself can never go wrong with Mario kart just gets better and better with the graphics

I get all my Switch games at Best Buy. Mario cart is a game that I've always enjoyed while playing with family and friends. This one has a lot of characters and stages. All the previous DLCs. Also, new fun battle modes :)

This game was purchased for Christmas. My nephew is totally crazy anything Mario. He has really enjoyed it.

Yes, It's not much different in the sense it's the same levels and such but it looks stunning in better graphics! The addition of the new characters is a bit of a incentive but honestly this is well worth the double dip.
