Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a blast on the Nintendo Switch. I love all the tracks for this game and the new content they've released has also been a nice addition. Definitely recommend it.

I was like well I have it on the Wii U is it really worth buying in on the Switch and yes it is! New levels and characters are worth it and just playing it mobile is even better.

Who doesn't love Mario Cart?! Very fun on switch and you can play online with people around the world. Love all the different tracks they have available from the past consoles. GET THIS!

Love the series and this is a really fun game. I have more fun with online play, its an absolute blast. Be prepared if you play single play 150cc and up can be brutal and a test of patience, more so then previous titles imho. Overall a really fun game especially local and online muliplier - the online community is very welcoming and thats a breath of fresh air.

After skipping out on the Wii U version of this game and almost completely giving up on Nintendo, I have had my faith restored in the company on delivering just fun and approachable games that anyone of any age can pick up and play. There is an easy mode that my 5 year old can utilize that keeps him on the track and he's even beaten me a few times in races while I can still use the ore harder mode of falling off edges and it's simply a blast! There is the complete game plus all released DLC content and the frame rate is buttery smooth. This game simply amazes what the Switch can really do in such a small package with some really good horsepower. Stop reading this already and go buy it...NOW!

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is arguably one of the best mario kart games. It has a ton of maps and characters as well as multiplayer. I have heard of some people having connection issues with the multiplayer; however, it was flawless for me. My only complaint with it is the battle mode is a little lacking. I would like an option for balloon battle to be deathmatch and to control the amount of cpu players. Overall only minor frustrations in an amazing game. If you enjoy mario kart and you haven't played mario kart 8 on the wii u this is a must buy.

If you know Mario Kart, this is more of the same goodness. Racing, battles, tournament, more characters, more locations, more options, more items... this is the best version so far.

This version of the game is superior to the original in so many ways. From the vibrant graphics to the new characters to the improved battle mode. Just awesome! Here's hoping to new tracks via DLC.

I am a Nintendo fan through and through. This version of Mario Karts combines older versions so that you get that nostalgia feeling along with newer versions so the kids enjoy it too.

Nintendo should be pretty much synonymous with MarioKart. This game is essentially a must-have if you own the Switch. As compared to the MarioKart version for the 3DS, one will see many improvements such as more tracks, better graphics, ability to hold 2 items, as well as new items. I think that online gameplay also has been improved so that people who are always in 1st place don't get any good defensive items, while others in last place get very beneficial items that can "even the playing field." This is a perfect family game, as it is a perfect game for those who are playing single-player. It is intense, clean, and such a fun time to play. This is one of the best MarioKart's out there!

Bottom Line: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is simplistic enough for young family members to play but has enough features and diversity to keep parents engaged. After doing a bit of research, I thought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would be the perfect game to play with my five year old. The game is very accessible, since the easiest mode has auto accelerate and all small children have to worry about is steering (even this seems optional at times). The races are just about the right length to keep my daughter interested, and we’ve been having a lot of fun playing this game together.
