Awesome game! Got it for my 5 and 7 year old grandsons to play when they come over. It was easy for them to play and they really enjoyed it.

Love this game!! I really wanted the new Mario Kart for the switch 2 but currently do not have that switch so this will do!

I waited a long time to pick this game up because we bought the original version for the Wii U and it just didn't seem like enough of an upgrade. Eventually the Wii U went up to the attic so a new version was needed for the switch to keep the kids happy. The additions are well done, the inclusion of battle mode (which really should have been there from the start), the better graphics, and the increased mobility of the switch platform are all appreciated. In the end, it's the most complete Mario Kart game in existence.

In my biased 2004 eyes, Wii and 7 are still my favorite alongside Double Dash which I regretfully never properly played, but 8 Deluxe is a great package of just a lotta Mario Kart. The new DLCs are slightly underwhelming with just the sheer amount of Tour tracks and lack of any more fun surprises like Link or Animal Crossing crossovers. Plus the fact the Mercedes product placement is still here from Wii U feels just weird. That said 200CC was a great addition and overall most of 8 Deluxe is just pure fun. At this point there will liekly be a new console coming soon and a new Mario Kart to go with it, so maybe wait for that but if you are sticking with the Switch for a while longer, 8 Deluxe is a grand time.

Great game. Nicer graphics tham Wii U version. Battle mode is totally different and much better. Overall very fun game locally and online.

If you played the Wii U version, or really even the previous entry in the series on the Wii, you know what you're getting. It's a family friendly racing game with iconic characters. This version has upgraded visuals, which aren't that big of a deal to me personally with this style (i.e., Nintendo cartoonish) of visuals. It also has some additional modes. If you like Mario Kart, this is probably the most definitive modern version of the game (even if the original is still more iconic and better to me). It's definitely worth checking out.

This game is FUN!!! No other way to describe it! Definitely more fun with others though. Works very well on the switch. The computer controlled characters can get a little annoying at times.

The graphics are awesome and the races include some of the classics like Moo Meadows. The new characters and different types of cars (like hangliders) make the game so much more fun. The coin challenges like the one in Luigi’s Mansion brings more creativity. Overall it is loads of fun!

Great new features, especially for inexperienced players. Fun for the whole family! Cool new worlds to race in, plus kept a few of the old favorites. Graphics are amazing!

Many hours of gameplay are to be enjoyed here. From the long list of tracks and modes this is an excellent party game. The Deluxe version steps it up further with the new content.

Great game! Lots of fun with some nostalgic (but also updated) tracks and some new ones. Great for groups and individuals. If you like the previous games, you'll love this one too.

it's Mario kart what else can I say. It takes tracks from older Mario Karts with updated graphics. It also has new tracks as well

If you own this game for Wii U it is the same game. However I bought it twice so I could play it on my Switch and on the go. It’s a solid game and the internet play has really improved.

Mario Kart games were some of my favorites growing up and I'm glad this exists for the only video game console i now own (Switch). Love the imagery and courses.

absolutely love this game. I’ve loved every Mario Kart game and this one continues the tradition. Online play is fantastic and I absolutely love that I can take it on the go.

If you enjoy MK, you will not be disappointed with MK on the Switch. This has it all. With 48 tracks, 42 characters and the versatility of the Switch, you cannot go wrong with this version.

This is probably one of the greatest multiplayer games out there for friends and family alike. The amount of effort put into this game must’ve been great and hopefully Nintendo continues to improve on this game formula
