It’s a blast with multiplayer. We’ve unlocked all the vehicles and accessories but that doesn’t matter, the amazing tracks and fun music never get old. My one complaint: the computer cheats.... When trying to unlock all the stars in Grand Prix mode you can be in first place the entire race then the computer will bombard you with blue shells, red shells and lightening before you can cross the finish line. I’ve lost so many races that way, it gets annoying. On my second try the computer calms down, so not too bad.

Previously a Wii U exclusive but alas has made its way to the Nintendo Switch and for good reason. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe uses everything from its predecessor and more, All content which also includes all DLC tracks and characters with more additional characters and a proper battle mode as well. If you owned this on the Wii U no need to rush and buy but if you're a Switch owner it is a must buy, from single player to online multiplayer and even local multiplayer is not only available in the comfort of your home but on the go too.

Speed is not everything. Picking up weapons and racing all in one. Cute characters and lots of colors. Fun and competitive

Having not played any Mario Kart since 64, I'm pleasantly surprised at the graphic quality as well as the ease of playing for beginners

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great edition of Mario Kart! For those that own Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, this is only a slight upgrade. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe includes all of the DLC and Battle Mode, among many other tweaks that make this a great experience. These include: better resolution, frame-rate and game-play (sliding mechanism enhanced). For those that do not own Mario Kart 8, but own a switch, this is a great buy, and for those that do own Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U, this is still a great buy if you are an avid Mario Kart fan.

This is a great way for my family and I to play and have fun.

Great version of Mario Kart 8, with all of the DLC from the Wii U version. A lot of fun with family and friends, must have for the Switch!

This is a fun Mario Game. My daughters and I really enjoy it and we have a ton of fun. It takes a little getting used to driving the vehicles with the controller but we're going to get some steering wheel accessories so hopefully that will help with the experience.

This was a really good game I would really recommend if you are into racing games

I skipped out on the Wii U version, but as someone who played most of the games since Super Mario Kart, this game is really well done. 4 Player couch multiplayer is great, as is the online play which is quite challenging. Even single player pushes you to the limits at the upper CC's. More importantly, the game looks beautiful. There are more tracks than ever, and the tracks that are inspired by other games bring back a lot of memories. (And hopeful expectations that those titles will make their way to the switch as well)

Had this game on the Wii U, but the new battle mode and being able to take it on the go made it a no-brainer to pick up for the Switch.

Just like the Wii U version, but better in all ways. Just the fact that you can take it on the go, makes it amazing.

Great game for a crowd. The controls are easy to use and is comfortable even with 4 players.

Numerous tracks, characters to race as, tons of vehicle modifications and new ones unlocked with progress. Great game for all!

My 7 year old has been playing this game for years over at Grandpa’s house. Yes, his 78 year old grandpa has a switch and loves to play this too. We bought the switch for my son’s birthday and the only game he EVER talked about was Mariokart. So of course Grandpa bought it for him. They are both so happy “training” separately in preparation for big race dates. So much fun for all ages!
