This is game is so fun! It's come a long way since the N64 version. The colors are amazing and its great to be able to play it on the go!

I've never disliked a Mario Kart before. It was majorly disappointing when they cutoff the Wifi to the Wii cause that's still the best version but what's cool about this one is they have so many more options for Battle mode. What I don't like is being forced to play a kind I don't like for instance capture the star. I don't like that they're charging to use wifi either but I guess it's cheap for now. Good graphics and a fun game. Racing is much more difficult on Switch but I like a challenge

I like the variety of gameplay options, tracks, single/multiplayer etc. Controls are easy to use, even in the "single joycon" multiplayer configuration, though I'd recommend getting some joycon holders to make the grip more comfortable to hold, especially for adults - those things are tiny. Haven't played with the steering wheel controllers, but it's fun to play with the regular controller too. Kids enjoy it, we can play as a family.

Fun game with friends and family many modes and characters as well as kart options

This game is so much better than the Wii U version. Now the game runs in 1080p, you can hold two items for double the action, and drifting is more important in this game. They included all the DLC from the Wii U for free and even added more characters and cups. A big thing I didn't like about the Wii U version is that I couldn't use gamecube controllers but now the switch version supports it! They also added battle modes in this version so this game is a definite buy.

Good game for kids and adult kids lol. bright colors and fun characters but you I have to buy an expansion pack if you want the rest of the characters.

Bought this to play with my fiance and it's been really fun so far. She enjoys video games much more than I do and we were looking for something that we could play together. I loved Mario Cart when I was a kid and so did she so this was a great choice. I can also play almost competitively with her already despite the fact that I'm not a gamer which makes it more fun. Great game. Couldn't be happier with it.

Brings me back to my youth yet it's also new and exciting with new tracks and characters

Mario Kart 8 is a well appointed game that continues to get better as new releases come out. Truth be told, I wanted to see more new features as I feel that each game is so similar to the previous version. However, my kids and I have a blast with this game and love the interaction it brings. This is my third favorite game on Nintendo.
