    We love this game. Previous versions allowed off-track driving, the Switch version will only allow off-track venturing if there is a secret path. Most times your car will slow down and it will force the car to follow the edge of the track. I really like that the track names show the original platform of a particular track, Wii, game boy, super nintendo, etc.

    Mario Kart 8 is, in my opinion, the best Mario Kart game ever. And Deluxe makes it even better. Amazing tracks, character, karts, better item balance, great battle mode, this game has it all! My favorite addition is the auto-steer, auto-accelerate features which allows me to play this game with my kids (who are still little). When they get better we can turn off those auto options.
