Plays just like it did on the Wii U, but comes standard with the additional content that originally cost money, so that's a plus. Additional battle maps and characters to choose from. All in all, it's a pretty good reproduction.

I bought the switch because my kids took the other game systems to college. Had a great time when they came in for spring break. Mario kart was a great hit for not only my wife and I, but the kids as well!

Mario Kart has always been one of my favorite Nintendo games, this one is no exception. Great graphics, great characters, fairly easy controls to grasp. Just a great game overall.

Would have been very disappointed if this would have been a wild change from what had already been mastered by Nintendo. Felt like I was busting out my Super Nintendo and playing all over again. Better graphics though of course.

I've owned every Mario Kart game since Mario Kart 64. This game is just as fun as the others, and even more fun being on the Switch! It's fun to play with friends and family.

This is an awesome family game. You can play with friends online or couch play.

If you have Nintendo and have only Mario Kart, you'll never get bored! So many tracks, and so many customizations, from choosing characters to their vehicles to available tracks. There are just too many that you'll never feel that you've seen it all. My only qualm is, that the extra money for a few more tracks is just too much! But whatever I'm getting in the basic package is still worth every penny!

Probably my kid's favourite game! Many creative race scenarios, amazing graphics. And it integrates well with the plastic wheels (sold separately) that makes it more fun.
