It gives you a lot of items you can customize for your driver and you have a lot of things you can change for race settings. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes I have noticed that one of the characters will not turn correctly. It constantly crashes despite having the same items as the other character. It may be a controller issue, but the batteries are fully charged, etc. Plus, sometimes it will work perfectly and sometimes it won't. Not sure what the problem may be, but it happens. Still, we have a lots of fun racing and crashing into things. Great game overall.

Loads of fun just wish they have horizontal screens for when you play instead of side by side vertical but you get used to it. Great game totally worth buying and holds value because its Nintendo.

Great game for kids!

They both spent the next hour playing against each other and made me but it for them. Definitely has them hooked in store and now at home.

Great Racing for Beginners too

It's a great addition to the old line with lots of the old tracks available. And there are some Easy settings that make it impossible to fall off the track - making it a great game to start him on.

The last Mario kart game I played was snes, I loved battle mode. This version is a nice upgrade. Battle mode is a little more complicated in this version compared to snes in my opinion, but for regular gamers Im sure it's not. Fun game.

For his age, this game is by far easier than others. Also fun for the adults to grab and play!

Having played the Wii U version I waited to get this on sale but I love it all the same. The nice thing is that it includes the previous DLC and extras. It makes an excellent party game!

It is family friendly and a great option for family game night. I would recommend getting a second controller. After playing a while on 2 player using the small Switch controller, your thumb will start to hurt after a while.

It needed to buy extra DLC for characters/stages in wii u. The bad side is that is an old game re-make to nintendo switch. The good side is to buy this deluxe version to have all the characters/stages and no need to buy extra DLC. :)
