I've been playing Mario kart since the first one and i live that this one has both old and new maps. I missed playing this game.

It’s a great game if you are looking to play with other people. I could see how it could get boring and repetitive after a while though.

This is the biggest, craziest, smoothest Mario Kart game in the franchise! With a steady 60fps at 1080p docked and 720p handheld, I've enjoyed this on the Switch, and I've played MK since the 64 days. Mario Kart anywhere you like is simply a no-brainer to me.

this game is so fun. love how they have added so many characters. i remember when mario kart first came out years ago. the family will have a blast with this game because the adults in my house do!

The last time I've regularly played Mario Kart was on N64, and I'm happy to see since then that Nintendo hasn't been simply shelling out the same game with better graphics. There are plenty of courses to race and many different customizations to play. The auto steer is can be a blessing/curse - makes it near impossible to fall of one of the 3 rainbow roads & can't take race shortcuts either. The 5 different battle modes are fun - shine thief & bomb-whatever-its-called seem to be house favorites so far. The game isn't perfect, but close to it. A few tweaks I'd like to see: I miss the fake item boxes, I wish when you had enough coins for a new vehicle item, it'd show it following the coin message instead of when you pick out the vehicle next, and although it'd be tight on the actual switch screen, TVs are big enough now that I wish wish 6 multiplayer option was available.

Really fun and solid game to play with family and friends. Crazy race tracks that make it challenging but fun and it’s great that you have all the character selections.

This is an upgraded version of the smash hit Mario Kart 8 with improved graphics, sound, and controls. This version includes new game modes and characters, as well as small refinements made to the main game. This is a must have for any Nintendo Switch owner.

Fun game with plenty of levels. Even more fun that you can play online. Lots of classic levels added as well with upgraded graphics so you get to reminisce the old levels too! A good party game for lots of people.

What's not to love about Mario Kart? If you have never played a version of MK, you should definitely buy one. If you have the Wii U version, this is identical, but you get to play Console quality MK in a portable environment. To me that's a huge plus!

Trying to get my wife to play video games with me and Nintendo is definetly the console to choose.

One of the greatest games of all time. I play this with friends back east, with my girlfriend at home, and even just against the computer, always an awesome time!

My son bought a Switch (with his own money) specifically so he could get this game. I bought it for him at the end of the school year as a gift for making awesome grades. He said he 'LOVES IT ITS AMAZING AND AWESOME' so I will give it 5 stars on his behalf!

Enjoying this game almost every night before going to bed. The mirror stage is a little interesting, though.

This is one of the best Mario Kart games ever made. It has the most tracks available right out of the box, the controls feel great (there are even special controls for kids or if you aren't very good), and the graphics are gorgeous.
