Switch Requirement

With some discounts I got it, and found it to be a must have for Switch owners. They improved everything and the new battle mode is superb. The portability of this game is by far its greatest strength, and of all the racers available there is nothing better.

Nintendo made their best Mario Kart game. 8 Deluxe has almost everything you ever wanted from Super, 64, Double Dash, DS, 7, and 8 combined (2-slots for items, tier-3 turbo, battle mode, customizations, etc.). The only problem I've come across are online network connections, but anything online seems to be an ongoing issue with Nintendo since the Wii.

Delivery late due to post office delays. Best Buy very helpful with explaining they were aware of delay. Helpful in giving me credit when this game went on sale soon after I bought it for original price. Love Best Buy.

New features such as steering assistance and auto-accelerate allow kids to play as well as people with disabilities. Great job Nintendo for opening up to these audiences and maintaining one of the greatest franchises of them all.

This is the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 and is the best Mario Kart that Nintendo has ever made. It's such a fun, beautiful game and the multiplayer provides endless hours of entertainment. It's my go-to online multiplayer game for the Switch. If you're a Switch owner, this is a MUST OWN! Thanks.

I just think that they should have never added the battle mode, it's really boring. But on the other hand, the tracks are great! Plus the best part is that your able to play with friends from around the world!

Fun game, good challenge

It is the first game in the series that requires you to brake at its highest speed, adding strategy into it, as you have to decide how long to brake for. You also have to plan really far ahead. In the end, it is a really fun challenge, and I found myself playing for hours at a time without realizing it.
