Another fun version of Mario Kart, a game the whole family can play and laugh and have fun together with! There needs to be more 1 screen multiplayer games like this!

If you're looking for something to play with friends online, this is the best party game. Real-time game play has been just as good as local. Highly recommend for playing with friends virtually.

Another great entry in the Mario Kart franchise. Even though it's a deluxe version of MK8 that came out on the Wii U, this has some slight upgrades along with still having the same great fun gameplay everyone has come to expect. Definitely worth the $60 price tag.

This game fixes up a number of issues people failed to acknowledge such as firehopping. Nintendo's even thrown out some patches to fix certain issues as well. It's not perfect though. Item ratio seems wonkier than ever. Battle mode's a good addition. I'd say not to pay full price for this but it's good to play with friends. The visual quality is better, and looks great on the tablet. My issue is there isn't much content added to the game, as most people would try to claim. A few characters, a battle mode that should have been there in the first place, and a few kart customization.

I stopped following the Mario Kart franchise a long time ago. In previous versions, gameplay was too difficult for little ones and the games were too kiddie for older ones. They were simultaneously way too easy yet frustratingly difficult. Did I mention Rainbow Road? Mario Kart 8 fixed all of these problems. It has an auto steer feature that keeps 5yr olds in the game with 15yr olds. They'll even finish on the same lap. When you drive off the road, it resets you quicker so one mistake doesn't end your chance of getting stars. The ai drivers are still a little too trigger happy though. One will strike and then 3 or 4 more will follow. ...And it's still frustrating when you're taken from first to last by relentless attacks, but it isn't as bad as it used to be. Overall, this game is the funnest of the whole series, so if you haven't played in a while, Mario Kart 8 is worth buying.

my grandaughter got the Nintendo switch for Christmas but the games were too hard for her. she is only six. I got the Mario Kart for her and now she beats everyone in the house with her racing skills. A great game for her to get the hang of the controller

Really fun and solid game to play with family and friends. Crazy race tracks that make it challenging but fun and it’s great that you have all the character selections.

My family loved this game! We played this game for hours and really enjoyed the new race tracks. Also, the availability to pick from a wide variety of characters and vehicles added a nice touch to the game. Highly recommend this to everyone.

MarioKart is the best kind of racing game! It is more than just a race, with all the specials you can use. There is a great variety of vehicles, drivers, and tracks. Anyone who likes racing games will love this game.

Love the game. It brings everything from older versions of Mario kart together. I feel like a kid every time I play. Of course though I play as an adult and always win well at least 90% of the time.

As far as mechanics, this game doesn’t change much from it’s predecessors; however, why fix something that isn’t broken? Graphically, this game is exceptional, especially for a Nintendo game. Woulda absolutely reccommend to both fans and newcomers alike.

This is a great version of the game, especially the variety of online battle modes. For younger or inexperienced players the auto steer and brake is also a really awesome option. MARIO Kart 8 for this system is the type of game the entire family can appreciate.
