It is the same version as you can buy for the Wii U, but everything is unlocked. I have had a blast playing this game with my sons. They love the new characters they have access too, and the new battle modes are a lot of fun.

Easily, the number one reason game I bought the Switch. Bright colors, unlockable karts, crazy characters and shells galore. This is the game that is our go to when we get home from a long day at work.

Mario Kart is always a good time and this is no exception. With limited choices for racing on Nintendos latest handheld (yes, it's a handheld not a console), this is pretty much the only viable option. Graphics are nice, controls are good but better with the controller instead of the joycons. If you liked the prior Mario Kart games, this will be a good addition to your switch library.

as someone who has been playing the mario kart games since i was a child, i absolutely love it. i love that you can play the game with others as well

This game is great and has all of the DLC from the Wii-U version included which gives you a great amount of tracks to race. Nintendo also improved the Battle mode considerably compared to the Wii-U version.

Multi player, fun family game for hours. Everyone enjoyed

I was skeptical of rebuying this at first,however, with the repair of battle mode over the Wii U version, it made it worth it and then some, not to mention now I can play Mario Kart upstairs and downstairs at the same time!

So I played a demo of this thing. And another winner. Nice extras from the last version. Graphis are nice. Little better than the WIIU. Sound is nice. Not much to say. Once you play one you played them all. Fun as heck. Go Big N

I mean who doesn't love Mario Cart!? This game is so much fun for the whole fam and I'm so glad they have available for that switch! Now my kids can enjoy it as well!

Always been a Mario kart fan since a kid. I got this for my sons Wii U but it didn’t have the extra tracks. This version comes preloaded with all tracks and characters. A must best for any switch owner.

OK so here is my review for this game, it is Marial cart… What's there not to love. Now upon playing this game I realize that every character is already unlocked except for one, also among all the characters there are quite a few missing that I thought would be fun to play as . The online play is so so could be a lot better with more effort from Nintendo. But it is definitely fun to play with my kids, we all have fun but I wish Nintendo would've done more with the game to charge such a premium price tag :-(
