    Mario Kart is the best racing franchise of all time (even if Crash Team Racing may be my personal favorite racing game). Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U was the best Mario Kart game yet when it was released and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Switch is the same game with just so much more. The content in the game is more, the picture quality is better, and the gameplay quality is better. If you want the best, most complete racing game on this generations consoles, this is it. Simple as that. If you have a Switch, this is the game to own.

    I've come into this not playing a Mario Kart game since double dash for the Gamecube. Even so I found myself being unable to enjoy this for hours upon hours. Its a game I'd play one or two matches then switch to something else. If its in your backlog then keep it there till the price comes down.
