I have played all of the Mario Karts starting with the original and this is definitely in the top! The thing I like about this Mario Kart is that there are So many various tracks, characters and karts! But what I don't really like about the game is that the tracks seem almost easy to do and can't fall off the side of the road creating an invisible wall to go off the side of the road unless you have a mushroom or special item. I also don't like there is no timer for racing unless you are doing time challenge. While the graphics are nice I think it lasts character and seems almost lifeless for each different character. Meaning - Link should be able to swing his sword when he is on his special Kart. Or Bowser's special item should be fireball.. Overall I would give it 8/10! Great switch game and play for hours but the characters seem lifeless and while there are lots of various karts, characters, and tracks. They seem almost meaningless and lifeless.. I wished they would have put more thought into the variety of characters, karts, and tracks!!! .

Fun for all ages. You don't have to be the best racer because the game helps those by giving them the best items.

I love playing this game it is really fun and I enjoy it a lot.

Fun game for kids and teenagers alike. Easy to play and to learn as well. Little pricey but a lot of fun to play!!

Great game, always fun by myself or racing vs others. I intend to get the track pack as it seems like a great value for the number of tracks you get. Turn off the cheating auto-steering, though. It's more fun and challenging.

Love this game it has a some of the classic races and new ones I can play with my sons

My 4-year-old loves this game. The auto-steering and auto-accelerating options help him tremendously and make it a lot of fun for him without getting frustrating or too challenging. I do feel like the steering wheel holders for the joy-cons are pretty vital for him to hold and steer correctly. He can play by himself or we can play with him. The delivery was fast as well!

I suppose that if you’ve played one Mario kart, then you’ve just as well played them all. Not entirely the case here with this game. Yes: it’s a re-release from the Wii U version, yeah: it’s another Mario kart game and yes: it reminded me of the 3ds game from years and years ago. But this one is just fun. It’s not a bad game and it’s a breath of fresh air for anyone that just wants a fun race and nothing cynical or ‘too’ deep or whatever. It’s fun, it has call backs to other entries from the series and it’s very pretty. Add it to your collection if you’re into that sort of thing

Mario Kart 8 is a must have for the switch. The graphics is amazing. This game will keep you wanting more.

Love this family fun game. Was able to play this game with my daily love to customization and the great add ons. I would for sure recommend this game to all customers.

I got this for my son and he loves playing it as well as my grandchildren.

This game has been so fun to play. I can’t stop playing this game because it’s so awesome. There are a lot of things to get, cars to unlock. The race tracks are amazing and the fun just keeps on coming. My kids love this game, I had to buy 3 in order to have competition with the entire family on the go, and I do not regret it. If you don’t have a switch, you should just buy it for this game a lone. That’s how awsome this game is.

Well, I was a little burnt out on Mario Kart for a while (last version I played was the one on the Wii back in 2008), but I decided to take the plunge on the new Switch version. Gotta honestly say it's an absolute blast to play. I know it's "more of the same", but the variety of tracks is great and couch multiplayer is awesome once again. Pro controller is best for me, but I want to keep practicing with the Joy-Cons so I don't hoard the good controller every time...

Amazing FAMILY FUN! My 7 year old loves it! It has great graphics. And classic roads and music. Although it does seem to easy to drive compared to the Super Nintendo version

I had only played Mario Kart on a Nintendo 3DS; so, being able to play on a large TV screen is great. My kids and I have played in 3-player split-screen mode, and it's a blast. Two of us have been using the two halves of the joy-con controller, and while they are a little small to hold, they work fine. Eventually, you find a way to hold them that works. Also, having all the tracks, carts, etc. available without needing to purchase DLC makes this game a good value.

I usually play single player focused games offline, but still had lot of fun with this game. Quite a few characters, lots of amazing tracks and modes. Online modes are cherry on the cake. Havnt played the game on Wii U, so cant compare how better this is, but on switch, enjoying this game a lot.
