Just joy playing this game. It's a everybody game whether you're alone playing to unlock new carts or beating your own time. Or, my personal favorite, playing with your kids, trying to see if my supermario kart skills from the 90's can hold up against their younger reflexes.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great purchase if you are looking for a game fairly easy to get into and holds hours of fun trying to get gold on trophies. Versus modes and online features add to the fun and make the already great game even better. I love the retro levels!

Perfect game for all ages! It is easy to learn but the challenge is always there to get better and improve your skills. You never get bored playing this game. The many choices between characters and tracks means you can play this game for hours and never see the same thing twice!

The latest and greatest in Nintendo Racing games. A staple for most fans of the franchise. Enjoy the variety of racers, karts, maps, and the ease at which one can pick up and play, while also able to gain mastery by continuing to play. The online functionality is also nice.

Though I played countless hours of Mario Kart 8 on my Wii U, the ability to play with my girlfriend, anywhere, anytime, along with some of the added features (a truly realized Battle Mode, Inkling Girl and Boy, Double Items, etc) helped me re-realize the value of the game itself. Though I definitely wish that there was a discount for Wii U owners, it's hard to argue with the fact that Mario Kart has never been better.

Published by Nintendo, a must buy. Was hoping that my son got a cartridge when he got his Mario Kart Switch, nope digital. So I bought a physical copy so more people can share it amongst more consoles (we all have our own). We can also play vs. , but only with him. Maybe I need another physical cartridge.

ok so those that played mario kart on wii u this will be just like you left off. but better graphics, and portable mode really add some nice value. Joycons can be a bit small but play well. I nintendo switch is going to be a hit, once it catches it stride and more people get there hands on one. my kids played this in 4 player/portable mode, while small screen it is doable and makes the car ride somewhere a lil more fun!

Like every Mario Kart before it, this game is a joy to play with others. This has to be one of the top 3 Mario Kart games ever made. If you already own it for the Wii U and have the DLC then do not spend your money on it again. But for anyone who does not have it already or retired their Wii U, definitely pick it up and you are certain to have a good time when having guests over or playing the 200cc mode.

Mario Kart was a family favorite on the Wii, so we had to have the latest version for the Switch. I found it a little harder to control than the Wii version (chalk that up to those tiny little Switch controllers I guess), but we had a blast racing each other through the holidays.

The refresh we needed and one of the main reasons we bought a Switch. The new features, items, vehicles, and characters keep this one fun. There is lots to be challenged by as you learn the new mechanics and tracks. This game will take much more time to "beat" than its predecessors. This game will bring many many more hours of fun.

This is another game that provides endless fun, just like Super Smash Bros. I doubt anything else needs to be said due to the nostalgia involved with it.

As the review summary says, this game is pretty much a no brainer if you’re getting a Nintendo switch. Mario kart games have been popular since they first appeared on the SNES console. The games go-kart style of racing is a riot to play with friends and if you don’t have any friends, the online modes allow you to connect with other people wirelessly, meaning you can play people all over the world.

If you have a switch then you should own this game. I play this game with my 6 year old and we had thr beat time. It is not a complicated game to play so it is a quck setup to play. I highly recommend getting the added tracks by getting the on-line expansion pack.
