Awesome! Love to play this, so much is new, fun to learn.

Yes, this is a port from the WiiU version but it has some nice upgrades, additional tracks from DLCs are included and ability to hold 2 items is a nice feature too. This is one of the few games I have 2 versions (Wii-U and Switch). Nintendo has been a bit slow on the amount of new games being available, so this should help get you to when Splatoon comes to Switch.

This is it. Nintendo made their best Mario Kart game. 8 Deluxe has almost everything you ever wanted from Super, 64, Double Dash, DS, 7, and 8 combined (2-slots for items, tier-3 turbo, battle mode, customizations, etc.). The only problem I've come across are online network connections, but anything online seems to be an ongoing issue with Nintendo since the Wii.

Bought a switch recently and my daughter isn’t old enough to play the Xbox yet so the switch was an obvious alternative with more kid friendly games. Mario kart was something we thought she would like and she loves it. She plays it every chance she gets. Easy to play and lots of fun. Very addictive game!

Back and better than ever, this Mario Kart comes with features that allow practically anyone to play this amazing and timeless classic. New features such as steering assistance and auto-accelerate allow kids to play as well as people with disabilities. Great job Nintendo for opening up to these audiences and maintaining one of the greatest franchises of them all.

This is SO fun! I love how they revamped some of the favorite places. It looks great and it is more fun to play, because it's not as easy to just run into things when you are cruising along (except the players or AI). I love that! It makes playing it much more enjoyable.

If you've played a mario kart game before it's the same formula. The graphics are great the game play is great. And it's really fun playing with a group of friends.

Its Mario Kart! Its the same we all know and is a must have in any collection. I've never heard someone who didn't like / enjoy Mario kart. Fun for everyone! Is it the best Mario Kart? Not really, I personally liked Mario Kart Double Dash alot better, but it has a tons of tracks in this one and is worth the price!

Mario games never dissapoint me. This new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch is somehow harder and have more competitive COMs than the previous series for DS or 3DS. However, this game is perfect if you want to play with multiple people/friends, and you can even go online to compete with other players.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is essentially just an updated and repackaged version of Mario Kart 8, except on the Switch. The biggest change is the inclusion of all of the Wii U DLC, and a revamped (better, but not stellar) battle mode compared to Mario Kart 8 on Wii U. This is easily a must-own game for Switch owners, even if you owned Mario Kart 8 on Wii U.

Wonderful remix of the classic Mario Kart games. It's not much different than the Wii U version, but if you missed it on there, or want it for Switch, it's so worth it. Great multiplayer fun, 60fps graphics are smooth as butter, visuals are colorful and engaging, and the gameplay is smooth and perfect. Wonderful game, perfect 5. BUY IT!

I picked up Mario Kart for the whole family. My wife doesn't play video games much, but loves to throw on Mario Kart to play with the kids.

I was at first skeptical of purchasing Deluxe when I already have the Wii U version, but was so happy that they fixed the Battle Mode. Additionally, the "assist" features are great for playing with my little kids (so they don't get too discouraged when they are constantly hitting walls. Would definitely recommend, especially if you didn't pick up 8 previously!
