An all time classic that continues to get better! Great courses, great racing controls and great fun. I won't knock a star off but FYI only, the game comes 95% unlocked. One of my favorite features used to be unlocking tracks and racers but Nintendo took a new approach "geared" toward multi-player racing right out of the box.

Now I didn't really look hard for the directions other than the button layout so if there is than disregard this and it pretend it's 5 stars. Alright knowing all the tricks like drifting and slipstream when behind others would liked to known how to properly do that.

Can I give it 6 stars??? It's absolutely amazing...I have played this almost non-stop during my free time ever since getting it for Christmas. It brings back memories of playing the older Mario Kart games back in the day. Me and my girlfriend play every chance we get. It's so addicting and by far my favorite game for the Switch.

I have always been a big Mario Kart fan, however this game exceeded my expectations. The graphics are incredible and it has that stereotypical Mario charm that we come to expect from Nintendo products. It is easy enough for beginners, but can be difficult enough for seasoned vets. It's even better when played with friends.

After adding another controller, this game has been hours of fun for everyone in my home. It creates nostalgia by letting you play with the people next to you and quickly become a staple of family game night. A ton of highly detailed levels, characters and vehicles along with a simple control scheme made this game a must have

This was the first game we bought for our Switch. Having come from the Wii, these are all new levels to us and love the new mechanisms. I really like the hover/anti-grav mechanism with all the course twisting and spinnning. Over all another classic MARIO kart that meets expectations and is an easy go to for the whole family.

This is a wonderful evolution to the Mario Kart that started it all. Great for head to head fun with the family.

This version of Mariokart is so different from what I remember on the N64, but is so fun! There are so many new things for us to try!

This game reminds me of playing Mario Kart on my SNES as a kid. While the graphics are updated. The main mechanics are the same and the character list is great. This is my first Nintendo game since the N64 and being able to play this with my little boy is one of the best things. Highly recommend this!

I love Mario Kart 8. I originally rented it from Vintage Stock when it released on the Wii U to play with my cousins one weekend. However, I found I enjoyed the game so much I bought the copy I rented and never returned it. It is even better on the Switch -- especially since the battle mode on the Wii U was useless. I haven't played battle mode much on the Switch, but what little I've played is far more enjoyable than the Wii U version. If you've never played Mario Kart 8, own a Switch, and enjoy Mario Kart games, I highly recommend this game. However, if you've already sunk hours into the Wii U version, bought the DLC, and don't care about portability or battle mode, it isn't worth spending the $60 to re-purchase.

Honestly, there's not much more to say. It's Mario Kart, for the Switch. Plays exceptionally well - pick a character, build a cart from body, tires, and parachute (all of which affects handling/speed/acceleration/etc) race around the tracks and hope to win. Multiplayer is quick and simple to set up. Blue shells are a pain.

Bought this game for the kids as we’ve played it on every gaming console. Very easy to use even for my two year old. There is a setting where it automatically accelerates so your little one can just steer the remote to drive rather than having to hold down a button.

Mario Kart 8 is quite the aging game, but it'll be hard to beat. Courses are fun, mechanics are easy to grasp. One of the staples for couch co-op.

Great game. Tons of content. Racers, cars, tracks. I wasnt sure if they were done making dlc for the game. So when i heard they were releasing more, i decided to buy. Looking forward to the new tracks!

Mario kart Deluxe 8 is officially my second favorite Mario game and definitely the best racing game that Nintendo has ever made. The graphics and gameplay is top-tier.

Get back to playing Mario cart as an adult and show those kids all those hidden skills from years past! Still as much fun as the first Mariokart!

I love how we can experience the fun we had from the 80's the Mario!! Brings back some great memories.

Grandson is very happy with this game. Plays it all the time. He says that it's his favorite game of all time. Good game for younger kids. Will buy him more mario games. He says thank you Nanny. It's a great game so thank you. I get i love you nanny so much. Lol
